''Degrassi Junior High'' was the second series in the ''Degrassi'' franchise, and ran on CBC on from 18 January 1987 to 27 February 1989. The series centers around an ethnically and economically diverse group of adolescents attending the fictional Degrassi Junior High School in east end Toronto, as they deal with various issues including teenage pregnancy, abuse, and sexuality. ''Degrassi'' is a Canadian television franchise created by Kit Hood and Linda Schuyler in 1979. Siluck Saysanasy (born January 30, 1974) is a Laotian- Canadian television actor. Saysanasy is best known for playing "Yick Yu", a character from the '' Degrassi'' series. Absence Seizure
Absence seizures are one of several kinds of generalized seizures. These seizures are sometimes referred to as petit mal seizures (from the French for "little illness", a term dated in the late 18th century). Absence seizures are characterized by a brief loss and return of consciousness, generally not followed by a period of lethargy (i.e. without a notable postictal state). Absence seizure is very common in children. It affects both sides of the brain. Epidemiology Absence seizures affect between 0.7 and 4.6 per 100,000 in the general population and 6% to 8% in children younger than 15 years. Amanda Felicitas Stepto (born 31 July 1970) is a Canadian former actress who gained nationwide fame for her role as teen mother Christine "Spike" Nelson in the ''Degrassi'' franchise. Angina, also known as angina pectoris, is chest pain or pressure, usually caused by insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle (myocardium). It is most commonly a symptom of coronary artery disease.
