Nissan CA Engine
The CA engine is a series of Inline-4 piston engines from Nissan. It is designed for a wide variety of smaller Nissan vehicles to replace the Nissan Z engine, Z engine and some smaller, four-cylinder Nissan L engine, L series engines. The "CA" stands for Clean Air, due to the installation of Nissan emission reducing technology, called Nissan NAPS, NAPS-X. The CA is an iron block, aluminum head design with a timing belt, cheaper to make than the timing chain setup on the Z and L engines. Earlier versions featured SOHC and eight valves. The new CA block design was a scaled-up Nissan E engine, E series block with timing shaft and other ancillaries removed. The oil pump is fitted directly onto the crank nose and the distributor is driven by the end of the camshaft. Like the E series and the Nissan A engine, A block from which the E was derived, Nissan used a taller block for the largest stroked 2.0-litre engine. The CA was designed to be compact and light, with a CA16 requiring only o ...

Radiator (engine Cooling)
Radiators are heat exchangers used for cooling internal combustion engines, mainly in automobiles but also in piston-engined aircraft, railway locomotives, motorcycles, stationary generating plants or any similar use of such an engine. Internal combustion engines are often cooled by circulating a liquid called '' engine coolant'' through the engine block and cylinder head where it is heated, then through a radiator where it loses heat to the atmosphere, and then returned to the engine. Engine coolant is usually water-based, but may also be oil. It is common to employ a water pump to force the engine coolant to circulate, and also for an axial fan to force air through the radiator. Automobiles and motorcycles In automobiles and motorcycles with a liquid-cooled internal combustion engine, a radiator is connected to channels running through the engine and cylinder head, through which a liquid ( coolant) is pumped by a coolant pump. This liquid may be water (in climates ...

Yue Loong Feeling
The Yue Loong Feeling () 101/102 is a compact car built in Taiwan by the Yulon, Yue Loong Motor Company from 1986 until 1995. It is available in both five-door notchback and five-door fastback body styles. History First presented on 25 October 1986, it was heavily based on the Nissan Stanza#T11, T11 Auster/Stanza, built by Yulon's principal associated company and engineering partner Nissan. Despite Yulon having invested heavily in a new R&D center (Sanyi) and having spent five years in development, hiring 300 technicians and spending NT $2 billion in the process, the car failed in the marketplace due to much publicized quality concerns. The Feeling was also marketed abroad (even in Europe), unusual for Taiwanese built cars. After a disappointing 9,451 built in the first full year, production dropped to a mere 3,846 the second year (1988). The Feeling was even displayed at the 1987 Tokyo Motor Show. The Feeling was recognizable by its unusual three-piece, wrap around rear win ...

Japanese Domestic Market
The term "Japanese domestic market" ("JDM") refers to Japan's home market for vehicles and vehicle parts. Japanese owners contend with a strict motor vehicle inspection and grey markets. JDM is also incorrectly used as a term colloquially to refer to cars produced in Japan but sold in other countries. The average age of JDM cars is 8.7 years, ranking 9th in a survey of 30 of the top 50 countries by gross domestic product. According to the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, a car in Japan travels a yearly average of over only , less than half the U.S. average of . Japanese domestic market vehicles may differ greatly from the cars that Japanese manufacturers build for export and vehicles derived from the same platforms built in other countries. The Japanese car owner looks more toward innovation than long-term ownership which forces Japanese carmakers to refine new technologies and designs first in domestic vehicles. For instance, the 2003 Honda Inspire featured the fi ...

Nissan VG Engine
The VG engine is a family of V6 engines designed and produced by Nissan between 1983 and 2004. Nissan's and Japan's first mass-produced V6, the iron block/aluminum head 60° VG engine was produced in displacements between 2.0 and 3.3 liters. Early versions used SOHC cylinder heads with two valves per cylinder; later models featured DOHC cylinder heads, four valves per cylinder, a slightly different engine block and N-VCT, Nissan's own version of variable valve timing, delivering a smoother idle and more torque at low to medium engine speeds. Both production blocks and head castings were used successfully in the Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo and NPT-90 race cars which won the IMSA GT Championship three years in a row. Origins Development of the ''VG'' series began in 1979 by Nissan Machinery, a former member of the Nissan Group ''keiretsu''. The objective was to replace the inline 6 Nissan L engine, which traces its roots back to the Mercedes-Benz M180 engine introduced in 1951, with ...

Nissan RB Engine
The RB engine is an oversquare 2.0–3.0 L straight-6 Four-stroke cycle, four-stroke Petrol engine, gasoline engine from Nissan, originally produced from 1985 to 2004. The RB followed the 1983 Nissan VG engine, VG-series V6 engines to offer a full, modern range in both straight or V layouts. It was part of a new engine family name PLASMA (Powerful & Economic, Lightweight, Accurate, Silent, Mighty, Advanced). The RB engine family includes single overhead camshaft (SOHC) and double overhead camshaft (DOHC) engines. Both SOHC and DOHC versions have an aluminium head. The SOHC versions have 2 valves per cylinder and the DOHC versions have 4 valves per cylinder; each cam lobe moves only one valve. All RB engines have belt driven cams and a cast iron block. Most turbo models have an intercooled turbo (the exceptions being the single cam RB20ET & RB30ET engines), and most have a recirculating factory Blowoff valve, blow off valve (the exceptions being when fitted to Nissan Laure ...

Nissan A Engine
The Nissan A series of internal combustion gasoline engines have been used in Datsun and Nissan brand vehicles. Displacements of this four-stroke engine family ranged from 1.0-liter to 1.5-liter and have been produced from 1967 till 2009. It is a small-displacement four-cylinder straight engine. It uses a lightweight cast iron block and an aluminum cylinder head, with overhead valves actuated by pushrods. The Nissan A engine design is a refined, quiet and durable gasoline engine. It appears to be a modern replacement of the earlier iron-headed Nissan C engine, Nissan C and Nissan E engine, Nissan E engines and is of similar dimensions. The 1960s A series was an all-new design from newly acquired Aichi Kokuki, and integrated Nissan's improvements to the BMC B-Series engine design of the 1950s (Nissan was a licensee of Austin Motor Company technology), mainly comprising changing the camshaft from the left side to the right side so removing the intrusion of the pushrods from the porti ...
