Andrzej Mularczyk
Andrzej Edward Mularczyk (13 June 1930 – 21 June 2024) was a Polish writer, screenwriter, reporter, and author of radio dramas. Biography Mularczyk was born on 13 June 1930. His brother was the Polish writer Roman Bratny. He made his literary debut in 1943 in the conspiratorial publication ''Dźwigary'', which published his work (anonymously). After the war, in 1949 he began to work as a journalist at the same time as he was pursuing studies in the Journalism Department of the University of Warsaw. He completed his studies in 1955. He worked as a reporter and columnist for the weekly publication "Świat". He was a member of the Związek Literatów Polskich from 1955 and of the Stowarzyszenie Filmowców Polskich from 1964. In 1970–1977 he worked as literary director in the film group Iluzjon, and also worked for Polish Radio for many years. Stanisław Aleksy Tym (; 17 July 1937 – 6 December 2024) was a Polish actor, comedian, journalist, and satirist, as well as a film and theatre director and writer. Tym co-produced and starred in many films by Stanisław Bareja. He gained much fame for his performance in the cult film by Marek Piwowski, ''The Cruise (1970 film), Rejs'' (''The Cruise''). In another cult film, Teddy Bear (1981 film), Teddy Bear, he co-authored the script and played two main roles. In the 1990s, he was a columnist for the popular Polish news magazine Wprost, later writing for the newspaper Rzeczpospolita (newspaper), Rzeczpospolita and for Polityka starting in 2007. He was the winner of many awards, including the Nagroda Kisiela for best columnist in 1998. Tym died on 6 December 2024, at the age of 87. Janusz Kłosiński
Janusz Kłosiński (19 November 1920 – 8 November 2017) was a Polish film and theatre actor. Biography In 1948 he graduated from The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, which was located in his hometown of Łódź at the time. Beginning in 1947, Kłosiński performed in theaters in Łódź, and, from 1964 to 1970, was the director of the New Theatre in Łódź. Beginning 1970 in Warsaw, among others, he was a member of the National Theatre in Warsaw. He was also a member of the PZPR, including also being a Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the Company at the National Theatre. Shortly after the introduction of martial law in Poland, Kłosiński openly supported the decision of the authorities at the time, even on public television. Waldemar Kazanecki ( (29 April 1929 – 20 December 1991) was a Polish pianist, conductor and composer. Life and career Waldemar Kazanecki was born and died in Warsaw. He began as a music editor on Polish Radio Katowice in 1954 and later became a pianist in the Jerzy Harald Orchestra. Kazanecki began composing for movies with the film '' Hrabina Cosel'' (''The Countess Cosel'') in 1966. In 1975 he produced the score for ''Nights and Days'' (''Noce i Dnie''), Jerzy Antczak's Academy Award-nominated film. In total, he composed for some 500 movies and television shows. Stanisław Sylwester Bareja (5 December 1929 – 14 June 1987) was a Polish filmmaker. Some of his films (mostly comedies) have reached cult status in Poland. His most famous film is ''Teddy Bear'' (''Miś''), filmed in 1980. His last work was '' Zmiennicy'', a TV series completed in 1986 and aired in 1987. On 21 September 2006 Bareja was posthumously awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by President Lech Kaczynski and in 2005, a street in Warsaw was named after Stanislaw Bareja.
