Mohammad Azharuddin
Mohammad Azharuddin (born 8 February 1963) is an Indian politician and a former cricketer who also served as the Indian national cricket team's captain. He was a right-handed middle order batter and an occasional medium fast bowler. He played 99 Test matches and 334 One Day Internationals for India. As a captain, he led the team to wins in the 1990-91 and 1995 Asia Cups and reached the semi-finals of the 1996 Cricket World Cup. He was considered as one of the best ODI batsmen in the world and one of the greatest of his era. He captained India in three Cricket World Cups, the most by any Indian captain, all during the 1990s. He was also a part of the Indian squad which won the 1985 World Championship of Cricket. Keenan Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium and an International Cricket Stadium in Jamshedpur, India. It is currently used mostly for cricket and football matches. In cricket, a batsman is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batsman is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Martin Crowe
Martin David Crowe (22 September 1962 – 3 March 2016) was a New Zealand cricketer, Test and ODI captain as well as a commentator. He played for the New Zealand national cricket team between 1982 and 1995, and is regarded as one of the country's greatest batsmen. Crowe made his first-class debut for Auckland aged of 17, and his Test debut for New Zealand aged 19. He was named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1985, and was credited as one of the "best young batsmen in the world". Crowe was appointed New Zealand's captain in 1990, and led the team until 1993. In a Test against Sri Lanka in 1991, he scored 299 runs, breaking the record for the highest score by a New Zealander. Ian Robinson (cricket Umpire)
Ian David Robinson (11 March 1947 – 3 April 2016) was a Zimbabwean cricket umpire who officiated in 28 Test matches and 90 One Day Internationals. Robinson started his umpiring career in 1975, was promoted to first-class level in 1978 and remained there for 31 seasons. He made his international umpiring debut in Zimbabwe's inaugural Test, against India at Harare in 1992. He was a member of the ICC International Panel and umpired in 3 World Cups. In 2008, he announced his retirement from top-level umpiring to take up the role of ICC Regional Umpires' Performance Manager for the Africa region. The Barabati Stadium is an Indian sports stadium used mostly for cricket and association football, and also sometimes for concerts and field hockey, located in Cuttack, Odisha. It is a regular venue for international cricket and is the home ground of Odisha cricket team. Narendra Hirwani
Narendra Deepchand Hirwani (born 18 October 1968) is a leg spin bowler who played for India. He is mainly remembered for his success on his Test debut. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 1988 Asia Cup. Early days Hirwani came from a well-off family in Gorakhpur. He belongs to the Sindhi Hindu community and his father owned a brick factory. Hirwani moved to Indore in his teenage where he stayed in a room near the ground under the guidance of the Madhya Pradesh cricketer Sanjay Jagdale. Hirwani made his first class debut for Madhya Pradesh at the age of 16 and took five wickets on his debut. He did much better in the following seasons and took 23 wickets in an under-19 three Test series against Australia. His big break came for India U-25 against the touring West Indians in 1987–88. Mark Greatbatch
Mark John Greatbatch (born 11 December 1963) is a former New Zealand international cricketer. He scored more than 2,000 runs in his 41 Test matches for New Zealand. A left-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler in first class cricket for Auckland and Central Districts, Greatbatch scored 9,890 first class runs in total as well as being an occasional wicket keeper. International career Greatbatch highest test score of 146 not out off 485 balls was against Australia at Perth in November 1989. Roger Twose
Roger Graham Twose (born 17 April 1968) is an English-born New Zealand former cricketer, who played 16 Test matches and 87 One Day Internationals for New Zealand in the mid-1990s. In February 2021, Twose was appointed as the director of New Zealand Cricket. Twose was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2000 ICC KnockOut Trophy. KT Francis
K. T. Francis, full name Kandiah Thirugnansampandapillai Francis (15 October 1939 – 9 June 2013) was a Sri Lankan cricket umpire. Francis officiated in 25 Tests and 56 One Day Internationals (ODIs) between 1982 and 1999, mostly in his native Sri Lanka. Francis' first Test as umpire was the one-off Test between Sri Lanka and England in February 1982; this was the first recognised Test match played by Sri Lanka.
