The New Zealand cricket team toured Australia from 18 November – 13 December 2011. The tour consisted of two Tests played for the Trans-Tasman Trophy. The series was drawn 1–1, so the trophy was retained by Australia. New Zealand's win in the second Test in Hobart was its first Test win in Australia since 1985, and their first test match victory against Australia since 1993 and their most recent to date. Michael John Clarke (born 2 April 1981) is an Australian former cricketer. He was List of Australia national cricket captains, captain of the Australia national cricket team, Australian cricket team in both Test cricket, Test and One Day International (ODI) between 2011 and 2015, leading Australia to victory in the 2015 Cricket World Cup. He also served as captain of the Twenty20 International (T20I) side between 2007 and 2010. Daniel Vettori
Daniel Luca Vettori (born 27 January 1979) is a New Zealand cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the New Zealand national cricket team. Jesse Ryder
Jesse Daniel Ryder (born 6 August 1984) is a former international New Zealand cricketer, who played all forms of the game. He was a middle-order batsman for Tests and an opening batsman in ODIs. Reece Young
Reece Alan Young (born 15 September 1979) is a New Zealand former Test cricketer who played for Auckland and Canterbury. He was the 250th Test cap for New Zealand. Domestic career Young made his debut as a keeper/batsman for the Auckland Aces in the 1998/99 season. Bradley-John Watling (born 9 July 1985), known as BJ Watling, is a South African-born former New Zealand international cricketer who has represented Northern Districts since December 2004. Timothy Grant Southee (born 11 December 1988), is a former New Zealand international cricketer who has captained New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game. Christopher Stewart Martin (born 10 December 1974) is a former New Zealand cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Martin played provincial cricket for Auckland, having formerly played for the Canterbury Wizards.
