Nepal Women's National Cricket Team
The Nepal women's national cricket team () represents Nepal in international women's cricket. They made their international debut in the ACC Women's Tournament in Malaysia in July 2007. Nepal has been participating in various international tournaments since then. Manoj Katwal serves as the head coach of the team whereas Indu Barma captains the team in all formats. Puja Mahato serves as the vice-captain of the team. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Nepal women and another international side after 1 July 2018 will be a full WT20I. Cricket Association Of Nepal
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is the official Sport governing body, governing body of cricket in Nepal national cricket team, Nepal. Its headquarters are situated in Mulpani, Kathmandu, Mulpani, Kathmandu District, Kathmandu. It is Nepal's representative at the International Cricket Council and remains an associate member since 1996 Anno Domini, AD (2053 Vikram Samvat, BS). It is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Women's Twenty20 International
Women's Twenty20 international (WT20I) is the shortest form of women's international cricket. A women's Twenty20 international is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between two of the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. The very first Twenty20 International match was played on 5 August 2004 between England and New Zealand at Hove, six months before the first Twenty20 International match was played between two men's teams. The Women's T20 World Cup, the highest-level event in the format, was first held in 2009. In April 2018, the ICC granted full women's Twenty20 international (WT20I) status to all its members. The Malaysian women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Malaysia in international women's cricket matches. UAE Women's National Cricket Team
The United Arab Emirates women's national cricket team represents the United Arab Emirates in international women's cricket and is controlled by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). History Its international debut was at the 2007 ACC Women's Tournament in Malaysia. The team lost all three of its matches, and on debut against Bangladesh were bowled out for nine runs, in a match which took one hour to complete. The squad was said to consist of "mothers and daughters", and the captain, Natasha Cherriath, was 12 years old. The team's coach was Smitha Harikrishna who played One Day International (ODI) cricket for India, and another ex-India player, Pramila Bhatt, was involved in a pre-tournament training camp. 2022 ACC Women's T20 Championship
The 2022 ACC Women's T20 Championship was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Malaysia from 17 to 25 June 2022. The tournament was organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the top two sides qualified for the 2022 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. The series was the last to be played at the Kinrara Academy Oval before the ground closed on 30 June 2022. The tournament was contested by 10 teams, including the hosts Malaysia, as well as Bahrain, Bhutan, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Singapore and United Arab Emirates. The ACC Women's Championship was last contested in 2013. 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier
The 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier was a cricket tournament that took place in the United Arab Emirates in November 2021. The matches were played with Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status, with the top team progressing to the 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament. Bhutan and Myanmar were originally scheduled to make their debuts at an ICC women's event. Originally scheduled to take place in September 2021, the tournament was postponed in May 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nepal's preparations included a three-match WT20I series against Qatar in Doha the week before the qualifier. Bhutan and the United Arab Emirates scheduled two warm-up matches against each other in Ajman. The second match of the tournament, between Hong Kong and Nepal, was the 1,000th WT20I to be played. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup
The 2023 Women's T20 World Cup was the eighth edition of Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It was held in South Africa between 10 February and 26 February 2023. The final took place at Cape Town. Australia won their sixth and third consecutive title after beating the hosts South Africa in the final by 19 runs. Teams and qualification In December 2020 the ICC confirmed the qualification process for the tournament. South Africa automatically qualified for the tournament as the hosts. They were joined by the seven highest ranked teams in the ICC Women's T20I Rankings, as of 30 November 2021, who competed at the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup in Australia. Binod Das
Binod Kumar Das (; born 26 April 1983) is a Nepalese former cricketer and a former captain of Nepal national cricket team. All-rounder Binod is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against UAE in November 2000. Under his captaincy, Nepal Under-19s participated in the 2000 Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka, finished as a Plate Runners-up in the 2002 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand and Nepal won the 2006 ACC Premier League. Bowl-out
A bowl-out (sometimes termed a bowl-off) was used as a tiebreaker in various forms of limited overs cricket to decide a match that would otherwise end in a result (cricket)#Tie, tie. Five bowlers from each side deliver one or two balls each at an unguarded wicket (three stump (cricket)#Part of the wicket, stumps). If each team has hit the same number of wickets after the first five bowlers per side, the bowling continues and is decided by sudden death (sport), sudden death. The 2019 Thailand Women's T20 Smash was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand from 12 to 19 January 2019. The participants were the women's national sides of Thailand, Bhutan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal and United Arab Emirates, as well as a Thailand A side. Matches (except those involving Thailand A) were recognised as official T20I games as per the International Cricket Council's announcement that full T20I status would apply to all the matches played between women's teams of associate members after 1 July 2018.
