Nashi (Russian Youth Movement)
''Nashi'' () was a political youth movement in Russia, which declared itself to be a democratic, anti-fascist, anti-"oligarchic-capitalist" movement. Nashi was widely characterized as a pro-Putin outfit, with the ''Bureau of Investigative Journalism'' describing it as "Putin's private army". Western critics have detected a "deliberately cultivated resemblance to" the Soviet Komsomol or to the Hitler Youth and dubbed the group "''Putinjugend''" ("Putin Youth"). Senior figures in the Russian Presidential administration encouraged the formation of the group, which Moisés Naím labelled a government organized non-governmental organization (GONGO). By late 2007, it had grown in size to some 120,000 members aged between 17 and 25. On April 6, 2012, the ''Nashi'' leader announced that the current form of the movement would dissolve in the near future, possibly to be replaced by a different organisation. He stated that ''Nashi'' had been "compromised" during the 2012 Russian presid ...

Nashi (Russian Political Party)
Nashi (Russian: Наши, meaning "Ours") was a political movement initiated by well-known Russian journalist Alexander Nevzorov. The movement has been described as "statist-chauvinist". The Nashi youth movement in Russia is not related to Nevzorov's movement. With Russia experiencing political and economic crisis amid the dissolution of the Soviet Union in November 1991, Nevzorov established the People's Liberation Movement "Nashi", which he defined as "a united front of resistance to the anti-national politics of the current administration of Russia and other Union Republics of the former USSR". Its badge contained the contour of the USSR with the words "НАШИ" (Ours) within. One of the prominent participants in the movement was Viktor Alksnis. The organisation was based in Leningrad (later Saint Petersburg), where Nevzorov hosted the scandalous television broadcast ''600 Seconds''. Nashi militants maintained a presence on Leningrad's streets. The movement called for a rest ...

Nakhi People
The Nakhi, Nashi, or Naxi (; Naxi: ) are a people inhabiting the Hengduan Mountains abutting the Eastern Himalayas in the northwestern part of Yunnan Province, as well as the southwestern part of Sichuan Province in China. The Nakhi are thought to have come originally from northwestern China, migrating south toward Tibetan-populated regions, and usually inhabiting the most fertile riverside land, driving the other competing tribes farther up the hillsides onto less fertile land. The Nakhi traded over the dangerous overland trading links with Lhasa and India, on the so-called tea and horse caravan routes. The Nakhi form one of the 56 ethnic groups officially recognized by the People's Republic of China. The official Chinese government classification includes the Mosuo as part of the Nakhi people. Nakhi culture is largely its own native Dongba religious, literary, and farming practices, influenced by the Confucian roots of Han Chinese history. Especially in the case of the ...
