National Museum Of Art, Architecture And Design (Norway)
The National Museum (, officially the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design) is a museum in Oslo, Norway which holds the Norwegian state's public collection of art, architecture, and design objects. The collection totals over 400,000 works, amongst them the first copy of Edvard Munch, Edvard Munch's ''The Scream'' from 1893. The museum is state-owned and managed by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture. The National Museum was established in 2003 by the merging of the Museum of Architecture, The Museum of Industrial Art, the Norwegian Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, the Norwegian Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, and the National Gallery of Norway. In 2022, the museum opened its new building at Vestbanehallen at the centre of Oslo, housing the entirety of the collections from these previous museums. Ingar Pettersen (executive)
Ingar Pettersen (born 1946) is a Norwegian consultant and former civil servant, with prominent positions in the health sector. Biography He was the chief financial officer in Oslo municipality in the late 1980s. He resigned in March 1990. From 1996 to 1997 he was an acting chief executive at Ullevål Hospital. He also chaired Aker Hospital from 1994 to August 2000. In October 2000 he was named as chairman of Ullevål Hospital. He was also leased by ''Dagsavisen'' in 2001 to save the newspaper's economy. Samson Eitrem
Samson Eitrem (28 December 1872 – 8 July 1966) was a Norwegian philologist, an expert in ancient literature, religion and magic. Personal life Eitrem was born in Kragerø to Samson Eitrem (1832–1923) and Anine Marie Nielsen, and he was a brother of . In 1910 he married Wilhelmina Galtung. Career Eitrem passed examen artium in 1890 at the Bergen Cathedral School, and started studying philology. He graduated from the University in Kristiania in 1896, and continued with further studies in Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Greece, graduating as Ph.D. in 1903. He was appointed professor in classical philology at the University of Oslo from 1914 to 1945. Carl Christian Hillman Jacobsen (2 March 1842 – 11 January 1914) was a Danish brewer, art collector and philanthropist. Though often preoccupied with his cultural interests, Jacobsen was a shrewd and visionary businessman and initiated the transition of the brewery Carlsberg from a local Copenhagen brewery to the multinational conglomerate that it is today.
