Nathan Smith (footballer, Born 1996)
Nathan James Smith (born 3 April 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Port Vale. He will join Tranmere Rovers on 1 July 2025. Smith turned professional at Port Vale in June 2014 and spent the 2014–15 season on loan at Stafford Rangers and the 2015–16 season on loan at Torquay United, winning the Player of the season award at Torquay. He made his Football League debut for Port Vale in August 2016 and went on to win the club's Player of the Year award for the 2016–17 relegation season. He helped the club to win promotion out of League Two via the play-offs in 2022 and was then again named as Port Vale's Player of the Year in 2022–23. He served as club captain for the 2023–24 relegation season and then was again promoted out of League Two before leaving the club at the end of the 2024–25 season. Madeley is a village and ward in the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, North Staffordshire, England. It is split into three parts: Madeley, Middle Madeley, and Little Madeley. EFL League One

A football pitch or soccer field is the playing surface for the game of association football. Its dimensions and markings are defined by Law 1 of the Laws of the Game (association football), Laws of the Game, "The Field of Play". Kevin John Nicholson (born 2 October 1980) is an English former professional footballer who is currently assistant manager of Exeter City. Playing career Born in Derby, Nicholson began his career as a trainee with Sheffield Wednesday, turning professional in August 1998. Plainmoor is an association football stadium located in the Plainmoor suburb of Torquay, Devon, England. Since 1921, the stadium has been the home of Torquay United F.C., Torquay United Football Club, who currently compete in the National League South, the sixth tier of English football. The 2015–16 National League season (known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons) was the first season under the new title of National League, the twelfth season consisting of three divisions and the thirty-seventh season overall. The National League covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England.
