Nasiruddin Chowdhury
Nasiruddin Chowdhury (; born 9 October 1979) is a retired Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a centre-back. He last played for Bangladesh Premier League club Chittagong Abahani. He represented the Bangladesh national team from 2010 to 2019. He is the oldest ever player to play in the Bangladesh Premier League. Club career Early years Born in Chittagong, Nasir played football using his tuition fees. He did not even have boots before giving trials for Chittagong Pioneer Football League clubs. When the Chittagong League was postponed, a friend of Nasir's encouraged him to participate in a trial for the Bangladesh Army Football Team, and although his parents were hesitant, Nasir impressed in the trials and ended up getting selected by the army officials. Super Cup is the highest-budgeted football competition organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation and is one of the two club football season cups in Bangladesh, the other being Federation Cup. Amin Ahmed Chowdhury was a Bangladeshi army officer and diplomat. Early life Chowdhury was born in South Anandpur village of Fulghazi in Feni on 14 February 1946 to Sultan Ahmed Chowdhury, a Police Officer. He passed S.S.C. in 1961. In 1963 he passed H.S.C. from Dhaka College. He got admitted to Ananda Mohan College, Mymensingh. While studying in Ananda Mohan College in 1965 he enlisted himself to Pakistan Military Academy.
