Narva-Jõesuu (urban Municipality)
Narva-Jõesuu () is an urban municipality of Estonia, in Ida-Viru County. It comprises the town of Narva-Jõesuu, settlements of the former parish of Vaivara, and two former distant exclaves (the oil shale mining settlements Sirgala and Viivikonna) of the urban municipality of Kohtla-Järve. The municipality surrounds two exclave neighbourhoods (dacha districts) of the city of Narva, Olgina and Kudruküla, both of which share their names with an adjacent village in Narva-Jõesuu municipality. Municipalities Of Estonia
A municipality (, plural ) is the smallest administrative subdivision of Estonia. Each municipality is a unit of self-government with its representative and executive bodies. The municipalities in Estonia cover the entire territory of the country. Municipalities in Estonia are of two types: *Urban municipalities or towns (, singular ) *Rural municipalities or Parish (administrative division), parishes (, singular ). There is no other status distinction between them. Municipalities may contain one or several Populated places in Estonia, settlements. Sinimäe
Sinimäe is a small borough in Narva-Jõesuu municipality, Ida-Viru County in northeastern Estonia. At the 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 319, of which the Estonians were 100 (31.3%). Prior to the 2017 administrative reform of local governments, it was located in Vaivara Parish. Before 1977, Sinimäe was regarded as a village. In September 1944, the village was destroyed during a fierce battle between the Red Army and its opponents including Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS troops.
