''Nada Como um Dia Após o Outro Dia'' (English: ''Nothing Like the Day After Another Day''), also released as ''Nada Como um Dia Após o Outro Dia, Vol. 1 & 2'', is the third studio album by Brazilian hip-hop group Racionais MC's, released on 27 October 2002 through Casa Nostra. A two-volume album, the project was critically acclaimed, named as one of the best Brazilian albums of all time by ''Rolling Stone''. It also won the Prêmio Hutúz for Album of the Year in 2002. It includes some of the group's most recognizable songs such as " Vida Loka I", " Vida Loka II", "Negro Drama" and "Jesus Chorou". The cover art for the album features Ice Blue in front of a Chevrolet Impala. Racionais MC's are a Brazilian hip hop group based in São Paulo. The original lineup formed in 1988 consisted of Mano Brown, Ice Blue, Edi Rock, and DJ KL Jay. Kin Vassy
Charles Kindred Vassy (August 16, 1943 – June 23, 1994) was a singer-songwriter, who in addition to his solo recordings also recorded with other artists, most notably Kenny Rogers, Frank Zappa and Elvis Presley. In the 1960s, Vassy was a member of The Back Porch Majority. He left that group in 1969 and joined the country rock band Kenny Rogers and The First Edition. As a member of the group he recorded a top 30 album — '' Something's Burning'' — and one of his own songs "Heed The Call" became a top 40 hit in 1970. He performed lead vocal on the group's 1972 single "School Teacher". In 1973, he sang the "Yipee-Yi-Yo-Ty-Yay's" on the outro of Frank Zappa's single "Montana" from the " Over-Nite Sensation" album. Roger Scott Craig is a Northern Irish musician, songwriter, and composer. He is a former member of the rock bands Liverpool Express, Fortune, Nina Hagen, Harlan Cage, and 101 South. Liverpool Express Roger started his career with the band The Merseybeats in the early 1970s, along with members Tony Crane, Derek Cashin, and Tony Coates. They continued to perform under the name "Tony Crane and The Merseybeats" until leaving in 1975 to form the Liverpool Express. Billy Kinsley
William Ellis Kinsley (born 28 November 1946) is an English musician who was lead vocalist and bassist with the Merseybeats until 1966 (although he temporarily left the band to form the Kinsleys). The group disbanded in January 1966 to resurface as the Merseys duo. They recorded the McCoys' song " Sorrow" (also covered by David Bowie on his 1973 cover album, ''Pin Ups'') with the band before embarking on a solo career, where he recorded "Bye Bye Baby" (not to be confused with a Four Seasons track of a similar title), a typical Merseybeat tune, followed by the singles "Annabella," and "You Make My Day." Leon Ware
Leon Ware (February 16, 1940 – February 23, 2017) was an American songwriter, producer, composer, and singer. Besides a solo career as a performer, Ware was best known for producing hits for other artists including Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Maxwell, Minnie Riperton and Marvin Gaye, co-producing the latter's album '' I Want You''. Early life Ware was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Arthur "T-Boy" Ross (February 28, 1949 – May 30, 1996) was an American singer and songwriter most notable for his collaborations with Leon Ware. He was the younger brother of entertainer Diana Ross. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Ross hung around rougher sections of Detroit while his elder sister garnered fame as lead singer of The Supremes in the 1960s and later solo fame in the 1970s. Cassiano (singer)
Genival Cassiano dos Santos (September 16, 1943 – May 7, 2021), best known only as Cassiano, was a Brazilian singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is recognized, along with Tim Maia and Hyldon, as one of the three great precursors of the establishment of an American funk and soul music influence in Brazilian popular music. His career, however, was compromised by a serious respiratory problem in the late 1970s, in which he lost part of his lungs. Besides the difficulty of performing as a singer, Cassiano's relationship with the recording industry deteriorated even further, which eventually led to the composer's total reclusion over the last three decades of his life.
