N'fa (born N'fa Deynde Jo Jo Forster-Jones; Note: user may have to enter the title/performer for other tracks to access further information. also known as N'fa Jones, 21 March 1979) is a British-born African Australian hip hop recording artist. He was born in London, but raised in Perth, Western Australia, and is best known as the frontman for 1200 Techniques. Forster-Jones was a nationally ranked 110m hurdler and placed third at the 2001 and 2002 Australian Championships, and fourth in the 2000 Olympic trials. His personal best recorded time was 14.08s (wind: +1.8) set in Brisbane on 25 March 2001, though clocked 13.91 "unofficial" in Auckland's trans-Tasman test meet in 2001. Rising (festival)
Rising (stylised RISING) is a city-wide arts festival held in Melbourne, Australia. The festival was announced in 2020 as Melbourne's premier arts and culture festival, replacing the Melbourne International Arts Festival and White Night Festival Melbourne, White Night Festival, and is supported by the Victoria State Government. Following two attempts to launch the festival in 2020 and 2021 disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, coronavirus pandemic, Rising has been held annually each June in Melbourne from 2022. Tim Tam is a brand of chocolate biscuit introduced by the Australian biscuit company Arnott's Biscuits Holdings in 1964. It consists of two malted biscuits separated by a light hard chocolate cream filling and coated in a thin layer of textured chocolate. History The biscuit was created by Ian Norris. During 1958 he took a world trip looking for inspiration for new products. While traveling in Britain, he found the Penguin biscuit and decided to try to "make a better one". Tim Tam went on the market on 10 September 1964. They were named by Ross Arnott, who attended the 1958 Kentucky Derby and decided that the name of the winning horse, Tim Tam, was perfect for a planned new line of biscuits. Pepperidge Farm, a sister company of Arnott's, began importing the Tim Tam to the United States in 2008. ''Good Gracious'' is the first album by Australian hip hop producer M-Phazes. Released in February 2010 on Obese Records, each track features different artists, including Drapht, Bliss n Eso, Illy and Forthwrite (360 (rapper), 360 and Pez (musician), Pez). At the J Awards of 2010, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. Diafrix
Diafrix are an Australian hip hop duo, Azmarino (Khaled Abdulwahab) and Momo (Mohammed Komba), which formed in 2001. Their music mixes funk, soul, reggae and dancehall. At the EG Awards of 2009, they won Best New Talent. Biography Azmarino (Khaled Abdulwahab) met Momo (Mohammed Komba) in the Melbourne suburb of Footscray in 2001 at a hip-hop clinic for school students held at a community art centre, hosted by Joelistics from TZU. Azmarino was born in Eritrea and Momo was born in the Comoros Islands. Joelistics suggested the pair work together, so they formed Diafrix. Diafrix has opened for such acts as Bliss n Eso, as well as international acts such as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Their song "Running It" was adopted as the official theme tune for the Western Bulldogs for 2013. Their music has been referred to as "anthemic" for the multicultural area they grew up in. Alfred Darlington (born Alfred Weisberg-Roberts; October 31, 1977), better known by their stage name Daedelus, is an American record producer based in Los Angeles, California. They are a member of the groups The Long Lost and Adventure Time. Daedelus is also affiliated with the internet radio station Dublab. Early life Daedelus attended the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music studying Jazz on Double Bass. Resin Dogs is an Australian hip hop group, formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 1996 based around the founding trio of DJ Katch (Andrew Garvie), produceBlunted Stylus(Geoff Boardman), and drummer, Dave "Acosta" Atkins. ''Part 3 Random Thoughts'' or ''Pt.3 Random Thoughts'' is a studio album by Australian hip hop artists, Koolism, which was released on 10 May 2004 by Invada Records via Inertia Distribution. It features guest appearances from Rodney P on "Warm and Easy", N'fa (credited as Nfamas) and BVA on "Stage Presence", BVA & Raph as Mnemonic Ascent for "On Deck". Three tracks on the album, "Koolism Is", "Adrenalin" and "The Grand Opening", received extensive airplay on Triple J. ''Koolism'' is an Australian hip hop duo originating from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The members are lyricist Hau Latukefu (born Langomi-e-Hau Latukefu, 1976, Queanbeyan, Australia) and producer/DJ/musician Danielsan Ichiban (born Daniel Elleson, 1975, Auckland, New Zealand). History ''Koolism'' started out in 1992 when Elleson (aka DJ Rampage) joined a group by the name Tribe Ledda L (L for Latukefu), which comprised Hau and his cousins Hounga and Sione.
