Moussa Timbiné
Moussa Timbiné (born 14 July 1974) is a Malian politician representing Rally for Mali. He became President of the National Assembly of Mali on 11 May 2020 but was deposed on 18 August 2020 during the 2020 Malian coup d'état. He had been a member of the National Assembly since 2013. Early life Timbiné was born on 14 July 1974 in Bandiagara. His father is of Dogon background and his mother of Songhai descent. Timbiné obtained a bachelor in exact sciences at the Lycée Hamadoun Dicko de Sévaré. He attended business schools in Sousse, Tunisia and Toulon, France. Lastly, he studied maths and physics at the University of Bamako. Timbiné subsequently worked as a teacher in the Daoudabougou neighborhood of Bamako. He later worked in financial and administrative positions for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit. 2020 Malian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Mali on 29 March 2020, with a second round on 19 April. They were initially scheduled to be held on 25 November and 16 December 2018, but were moved to April 2019 and then to June 2019, before being postponed until 2020 by the Council of Ministers. The elections were marred by violence in the north and center of the country. These are the first elections to fill Mali’s 147-seat parliament since 2013. Thousands of Malians have died as the country suffered sporadic attacks by jihadists as well as cases of inter-ethnic violence since unrest began in 2012. Electoral system The 147 members of the National Assembly are elected from 125 constituencies using the two-round system to serve five-year terms. Kati, Mali
Kati is an urban commune and the largest town in Mali's Koulikoro Region. The town is situated 15 km northwest of Bamako, Mali's capital, on the Dakar-Niger Railway. In the 2009 census, the commune had a population of 114,983. History Kati was the site of Camp Gallieni, where the 2nd Regiment of Senegalese Tirailleurs was garrisoned. Boubou Cissé (born 1974) is a Malian politician who was the Prime Minister of Mali from April 2019 to his resignation following the 2020 Malian coup d'état in August 2020. He was also the Minister of Economy and Finance and Minister of Mines and Industry.
