The Minister of Transport ( French: ''Ministre des Transports'') is a cabinet member in the Government of France. The post is currently that of a junior minister within the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion. The position was created in 1870 as a modification to the position of Minister of Public Works (''Ministre des Travaux Publics''), which had been established in 1830. Clément Beaune
Clément Beaune (; born 14 August 1981) is a French public servant and politician who has been heading France Stratégie since 2025. Beaune served as Secretary of State for European Affairs (2020–2022) and Minister for Transport (2022–2024) in the governments of Prime Ministers Jean Castex and Élisabeth Borne. Following the resignation of the Borne government in 2024, he again became a member of the National Assembly for Paris's 7th constituency. Jean-Louis Bianco (born 12 January 1943) is a French politician and civil servant who served as Minister of Social Affairs and Integration from 1991 to 1992 and Minister of Equipment, Transport and Housing from 1992 to 1993 under President François Mitterrand. A member of the Socialist Party (PS), he was later elected to the National Assembly in 1997, where he represented the 1st constituency of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence for three terms.
