Middle Road () is a street in the southern part of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The street runs from Kowloon Park Drive in the west to the entrance of East Tsim Sha Tsui station in the east, where it makes a 90-degree turn to the south, terminating at Salisbury Road. Part of Middle Road marks the original coastline of Tsim Sha Tsui prior to land reclamation. A subway runs underneath the east-west segment of the street, forming an important pedestrian artery in the district. History Constructed in the late 19th century, Middle Road formerly ran along the coastline between Blackhead Point and the hill where the Former Marine Police Headquarters Compound stands. Middle Road, Singapore
Middle Road is a road in the Central Area of Singapore, stretching along the Downtown Core and Rochor planning areas. It starts from its junction with Selegie Road and ends at its junction with Nicoll Highway. Middle Road was already in existence in early Singapore, appearing in George Drumgoole Coleman's ''Map of Singapore'' in 1836. The area around Middle Road was the original settlement of the Hainanese immigrant community, a community noted for its active role in the food and beverage history of Singapore. The Middle Road
The Middle Road was the name for a historic highway in the Canadian province of Ontario, which served to link the cities of Toronto and Hamilton. The name was used between 1931 and 1939, after which the road became the northern section of the Queen Elizabeth Way. It borrowed the name of Middle Road from a concession road in Toronto Township between 1st Concession South and 2nd Concession South during the early 1800s. The Middle Road was initially constructed as a depression relief project, employing 74 men to grade and widen the country lane into a four lane roadway. County Route 48 (CR 48) is a major east–west county road on the North Fork of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York, in the United States. It runs for from Sound Avenue in Mattituck to New York State Route 25 (NY 25) just outside the village of Greenport. The route is co-signed as NY 25 Truck, which continues west along Sound Avenue towards Laurel. CR 48 was originally designated as CR 27 when it became a county road in 1930 and was renumbered to CR 48 in 1988 to avoid confusion with New York State Route 27, which is the main thoroughfare on the South Fork of Long Island. Middle of the Road are a Scottish pop group who have enjoyed success across Europe and Latin America since the 1970s. Before ABBA established themselves in the mid 70s, Middle of the Road were the sound of early europop with their distinctive harmonies and lead vocals from Sally Carr. Four of their singles sold over one million copies each, and received a gold disc: "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep". "Sacramento", " Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum" and "Soley Soley". By early 1972 the group had sold over five million records. Aziz Ibrahim
Aziz-Ur-Rahman Ibrahim (born 16 March 1964) is a British guitarist. He was born in Longsight, Manchester to Pakistani parents. He is best known for his work as guitarist with Simply Red, The Stone Roses (post- John Squire) and their former vocalist Ian Brown in whose band he regularly performs – both in the studio and live. He is also a member of the H Band with Marillion's lead singer Steve Hogarth and is involved in the writing of the second H Band album. He has also worked with Paul Weller, Steven Wilson, Asia and contributed to The Players' debut album ''Clear the Decks''. Ibrahim's first release was the CD EP ''Middle Road'' featuring guest vocals and guitar from Paul Weller. Ibrahim also provided the vocals for Weller's spoken word song entitled "God", on his 2008 album, '' 22 Dreams'' along with guitars for previous Paul Weller releases, e.g. '' Illumination''.
