Manny Fernandez (American Football)
Manuel Jose Fernandez (born July 3, 1946) is a retired American football player who played eight seasons for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He played in three consecutive Super Bowls for the Dolphins in the 1971, 1972, and 1973 seasons. Manny Fernandez (ice Hockey)
Emmanuel L. Fernandez (born August 27, 1974) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League with the Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild and the Boston Bruins. Fernandez was born in Etobicoke, Ontario, but grew up in Kirkland, Quebec. Playing career Fernandez was drafted in the third round, 52nd overall, of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Quebec Nordiques. Before playing in the NHL, he was traded to the Dallas Stars in 1994 for Tommy Sjödin and a third round pick, which ended up being Chris Drury. In June 2000, Fernandez was traded with Brad Lukowich to the Minnesota Wild for two draft picks, a third-round pick in 2000 and a fourth-round pick in 2002. Emanuel Fernandez (born July 27, 1954) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, "The Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez. Early life Fernandez played American football for West Texas A&M University. Professional wrestling career Fernandez had success in 1979, becoming Florida Heavyweight Champion after a feud with Terry Funk. He also formed a tag team with Dusty Rhodes, and they won the NWA World tag team title from Ivan Koloff and Don Kernodle. They feuded with them and Ivan's "nephew" Nikita Koloff until losing the title to the Koloffs in early 1985. Fernandez soon became involved in a feud with Arn Anderson after being attacked by Anderson and laid out. He teamed with Thunderbolt Patterson to feud with Arn and Ole Anderson.
