Młynów Metro Station
Młynów is a M2 (Warsaw), M2 metro line Warsaw Metro station in Wola district, by the intersection of Górczewska and Syreny streets. It is part of the extension of M2 (Warsaw), Line M2 from Rondo Daszyńskiego metro station, Rondo Daszyńskiego to Wola, with construction started in 2016. All three stations opened on April 4, 2020. The station is 168.2 m in length, and the cubic capacity at 56 636 m³. The blue colour scheme of the station refers to the nearby swimming pool in Moczydło estate. Warszawa Młynów Railway Station
Warszawa Młynów railway station is a railway station in the Wola district of Warsaw, Poland. It was built on the Warsaw orbital line, which goes through Warszawa Gdańska station. In 2011, it was used exclusively by Koleje Mazowieckie which run the KM9 services from Warszawa Wola through the north of the Masovian Voivodeship to Działdowo, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, via Legionowo, Nasielsk, Modlin, Ciechanów and Mława, at all of which some trains terminate. The station was originally opened in 1988, named Warszawa Koło for the Koło neighborhood of the Wola district. It was closed in March 2017 for the reconstruction of the Warszawa Zachodnia−Warszawa Gdańska railway line. An island platform (also center platform (American English) or centre platform (British English)) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. M2 (Warsaw)
The M2 line is the second line of the Warsaw Metro. It is currently long, has 18 stations and runs from Bródno metro station, Bródno neighborhood in Targówek district to the Bemowo metro station, Górce district in Bemowo. The planned line completion is in 2026, and will run from Targówek to Bemowo and number 21 stations. The route of the M2 metro line was confirmed in 2006. In 2007, a tender was announced for the completion of the central section of the route from Wola to Praga. In 2008, the tender was cancelled and a new one announced. In 2009, the new tender was complete and an agreement with the AGP Metro Polska consortium was signed. The Warsaw Metro () is a rapid transit underground system serving the Poland, Polish capital Warsaw. Wola
Wola () is a district in western Warsaw, Poland. An industrial area with traditions reaching back to the early 19th century, it underwent a transformation into a major financial district, featuring various landmarks and some of the tallest office buildings in the city. History Village Wielka Wola was first mentioned in the 14th century. It became the site of the elections, from 1573 to 1764, of Polish kings by the szlachta (nobility) of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Rondo Daszyńskiego Metro Station
Rondo Daszyńskiego is a station on the central part of Line M2 of the Warsaw Metro. The station fully opened for passenger use on 8 March 2015 as the western terminus of the inaugural stretch of Line M2 between Rondo Daszyńskiego and Dworzec Wileński. It was designed by Polish architect Andrzej M. Chołdzyński and constructed by Metroprojekt. Murals were created by Wojciech Fangor, artist of the Polish School of Posters. The station is located just west of Rondo Daszyńskiego (Daszyński Roundabout), named in honor of Ignacy Daszyński. Construction of the station was made difficult by adverse hydrological conditions.
