München Rosenheimer Platz Station
Munich Rosenheimer Platz station is one five underground station opened in 1972 on the trunk line of the Munich S-Bahn between Munich Central Station () and Munich East station (München Ost station). It is under the street of the same name and Rosenheimerstraße in the Munich district of Haidhausen. It has two platform tracks and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. Description The station was opened with the other underground stations on the trunk line in 1972; construction started in 1966. The escalators, columns and the station stripes are in yellow, as part of the station's colour scheme. Like its northwestern neighbor, Isartor station, the station has no connection to the U-Bahn or long-distance services, but only with trams. Gasteig
The Gasteig is a currently closed cultural center in Munich, opened in 1985, which hosts the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. The Richard Strauss Conservatory, the Volkshochschule, and the municipal library are all located in the Gasteig. Most of the events of the Filmfest München, and many of the events of the Munich Biennale take place here. Munich Isartor station is a station opened in 1972 on the Munich S-Bahn on the trunk line between Munich Central Station () and Munich East station (''Ostbahnhof''). It is located below Isartorplatz and the Thierschstraße/Zweibrückenstraße intersection in Munich and is named after the nearby Isartor city gate. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. Like all other stations on the trunk line, it has two entrances. The Western entrance leads to a vast mezzanine on the Altstadtring/Tal/Zweibrückenstraße intersection and the eastern entrance starts at the courtyard of the Breiterhof shopping arcade between Thierschstraße and Liebherrstraße.
