Michael Møller
Michael Møller (born 9 November 1952) is president of the Diplomatic Forum of the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator Foundation, principal advisor at Macro Advisory Partners and member of the boards of several foundations, including the Kofi Annan Foundation. He is Honorary President of the Association of Former International Civil Sevants for Development (Greycells). He is a Danish former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and the 12th director-general of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG). He was also the secretary-general of the Conference on Disarmament and the United Nations Secretary-General's personal representative to the conference. Arnold Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller (; 13 July 1913 – 16 April 2012) was a Danish shipping magnate. He was a longtime figure at A.P. Moller–Maersk Group, which was founded by his father. Personal life Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller was born in Hellerup, the son of a Danish father, Arnold Peter Møller, founder of the A.P. Moller–Maersk Group and an American mother of Irish and German descent, Chastine Estelle Roberta (née McKinney) Møller. Mærsk married his high-school sweetheart, Emma Neergaard Rasmussen in 1940 and remained married to her until her death in 2005. Lis Møller
Lis Møller (22 December 1918 – 24 September 1983) was a Danish journalist and Conservative People's Party politician who was elected to the Folketing for two non-consecutive periods. She joined the Young Conservatives when she was aged 15 and took part in organisational work for them. Møller joined Danmarks Radio as a programme secretary for radio in 1949 before moving to television seven years later. She focused on women's and social issues and underrepresented minorities while in Parliament and her broadcasting career focused on women's and youth, particularly social issues from those groups she worked with for organisations she was a part of. Grethe Fenger Møller
Grethe Fenger Møller (born 6 November 1941) is a Danish lawyer and Conservative People's Party politician, who was elected to the Folketing as a representative of the constituency from 1977 to 1994. She was the Minister of Labour in the first government of Poul Schlüter between 1982 and 1986. She was president of the Danish Women's Society from 1974 to 1981 after previously being on its executive committee and primary board. Møller left politics after being sentenced to probation for 60 days for providing false testimony in court about the Tamil Case and worked as a clerk in the Ministry of Social Affairs' international office until she retired in 2008. Arnold Peter Møller (2 October 1876 – 12 June 1965), better known as A. P. Møller, was a Danish shipping magnate, businessman who was the founder of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group in 1904. Biography A. P. Møller was the son of captain Peter Mærsk Møller and Anna Hans Jeppesen. Christian Møller (22 December 1904, 14 January 1980) was a Danish people, Danish chemist and physicist who made fundamental contributions to the theory of relativity, theory of gravitation and quantum chemistry. He is known for Møller–Plesset perturbation theory and Møller scattering. His suggestion in 1938 to Otto Frisch that the newly discovered process of nuclear fission might create surplus energy, led Frisch to conceive of the concept of the nuclear chain reaction, leading to the Frisch–Peierls memorandum, which kick-started the development of nuclear power, nuclear energy through the MAUD Committee and the Manhattan Project.
