"Männer sind Schweine" ("Men are pigs") is a pop/rock song by Die Ärzte. It's the thirteenth track from their 1998 album '' 13''. The tongue-in-cheek lyrics are based on the cliché of men always wanting sex, warning women not to fall for their false promises of true love. Ein Schwein namens Männer The song has also been released on the single Ein Schwein namens Männer ("A pig called men"). It's the first single release from the album '' 13''. This was the band's first single to reach number one in the German charts. The video The video clip features a digital Lara Croft model, Eidos Interactive officially approved Lara's appearance. It starts with the band performing the song in an old warehouse. When Lara appears, the clip transforms into a John Woo style action movie including excessive shooting, fist fights and many sound effects actually eclipsing the song. Die Ärzte
(; ) is a German rock band from Berlin. It consists of guitarist Farin Urlaub, drummer Bela B and bass player Rodrigo González (musician), Rodrigo González. All three write and perform their songs. The band has released 14 studio albums. History 1982–1985: Early years, debut album were formed in West Berlin in 1982 by Jan Vetter (alias Farin Urlaub, a pun on the expression "Fahr' in Urlaub", meaning "Go on vacation"), Dirk Felsenheimer (alias Bela B, referring to Dracula actor Bela Lugosi) and bassist Hans Runge, alias . Rodrigo "Rod" Andrés González Espíndola (born 19 May 1968) is a Chilean-born German musician known as the bassist and one of the singers of German rock band Die Ärzte. Early life González's parents were politically persecuted in Chile during the Augusto Pinochet, Pinochet dictatorship, and so were granted Right of asylum, asylum in Hamburg. His family initially lived there on social benefits until his father found work. He completed his ''Abitur'' (school-leaving exams) at the Gymnasium (school), Gymnasium Langenhorn.
