''My Life's Been a Country Song'' is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Chris Cagle. It was released on February 19, 2008, through Capitol Records Nashville. The album's lead-off single was "What Kinda Gone", which peaked at No. 3 on the country music charts in April 2008, the second single, "No Love Songs", peaked at No. 53, while the third single, "Never Ever Gone", failed to chart. The album debuted at number eight on the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200 chart, selling about 37,000 copies in its first week. It also debuted at number one on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. It is also Cagle's final album for Capitol. The song "I Don't Wanna Live" was also recorded by Josh Gracin on his 2008 album ''We Weren't Crazy'' as "I Don't Want to Live". Christopher Norris Cagle (born November 10, 1968) is an American country music artist. He was first known for writing songs for David Kersh before signing to Virgin Records Nashville in 2000. Cagle made his debut on ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts with " My Love Goes On and On", the first single from his debut album ''Play It Loud''. The album, which was certified gold in the US, also produced the Top 10 " Laredo" and "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out", his only No. 1 hit. Harry Stinson is an American multi-instrumentalist, noted as a session drummer and vocalist in the Nashville music community. He is also a songwriter and producer. Biography Stinson grew up in Nashville, where he grew to love country music. He was in a high school band with Morris West, son of country star Dottie West. In 1970, Stinson first worked professionally in Dottie West's band the Heartaches, touring with Red Sovine and Don Gibson, and appearing on the Grand Ole Opry. In 1974, Stinson substituted for Willie Leacox for the band America's tour.
