Mozart, L'opéra Rock
''Mozart, l'opéra rock'' ("Mozart, the rock opera") is a French musical with music by Dove Attia, Jean-Pierre Pilot, Olivier Schultheis, William Rousseau, Nicolas Luciani, Rodrigue Janois and François Castello, lyrics by Vincent Baguian and Patrice Guirao and a book by Attia and François Chouquet. The show is a dramatization of the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart beginning from the age of 17 and culminating with his death in 1791 at the age of 35. It uses both original pop-rock compositions as well as pre-existing music composed by Mozart and other composers, including Antonio Salieri. Productions The musical premiered on 22 September 2009 at the Palais des Sports de Paris, where it continued until 3 January 2010. From 4 February 2010 until 3 July 2010, it went on tour in France, Belgium, and Switzerland. It returned to Paris between 9 November 2010 and 9 January 2011. Mikelangelo Loconte
Mikelangelo Loconte (5 December 1973) is an Italian singer, writer, composer, musician, performer and artistic director. He was born in Cerignola, but began his acting and performing career in France, in the musical ''Les Nouveaux Nomades'' by Claude Barzotti and Anne-Marie Gaspard. Without speaking French, he recorded all his songs in a studio using phonetic writing in the early years of his career. Career Discovered in Belgium by Alec Mansion (member of Léopold Nord & Vous band), Loconte worked as an artistic director in the studio La Chapelle in Waimes. From an early age, Mikelangelo Loconte took part in TV shows and stage performances. At the age of twenty-one, he met singer Rita Pavone, who along with Teddy Reno declared him winner of the Festival des Inconnues during a broadcast on RAI 2. Hieronymus Von Colloredo-Mannsfeld
Hieronymus Joseph Franz de Paula Graf Colloredo von Wallsee und Melz (; Jérôme Joseph Franz de Paula, Count of Colloredo-Wallsee and Mels; ) was Prince-Bishop of Gurk from 1761 to 1772 and Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg from 1772 until 1803, when the prince-archbishopric was secularized. After secularization, Colloredo fled to Vienna and remained the non-resident archbishop of Salzburg, bereft of temporal power, until his death in 1812. He is most famously known as a patron and employer for Mozart. Joseph Lange
Joseph Lange (Würzburg, Holy Roman Empire 1 April 1751 – Vienna, 17 September 1831) was an actor and amateur painter of the 18th century. Through his marriage to Aloysia Weber, he was the brother-in-law of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Life His first marriage, in 1775, was to Maria Anna Elisabeth Schindler, daughter of Philipp Ernst Schindler, a miniature painter and director of painting at the Viennese porcelain factory. Maria Anna died on 14 March 1779 of pneumonia. He married Aloysia Weber, a successful soprano, in Vienna on 31 October 1780. In that year he also agreed to support Aloysia's widowed mother Cäcilia with an annual payment of 700 florins. Mozart married Aloysia's younger sister Constanze in Vienna in 1782, and thus became Lange's brother-in-law. Maria Constanze Cäcilia Josepha Johanna Aloysia Mozart (née Weber; 5 January 1762 – 6 March 1842) was a German soprano, later a businesswoman. She is best remembered as the spouse of the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who from the evidence of his letters was deeply in love with her throughout their nine-year marriage. Maria Josepha Weber (later Josepha Hofer, Josepha Meier; 1758 – 29 December 1819) was a German soprano of the classical era. She was a sister-in-law of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the first to perform the role of The Queen of the Night in Mozart's opera ''The Magic Flute'' (1791). Sophie Weber
Maria Sophie Weber (1763–1846) was a singer of the 18th and 19th centuries. She was the younger sister of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's wife, Constanze, and is remembered primarily for the testimony she left concerning the life and death of her brother-in-law. Life She was born into a musical family, the youngest of four sisters all of whom became trained singers; two achieved professional fame: the eldest sister Josepha Weber and the second eldest Aloysia Weber. Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia (''Frederika Sophia Wilhelmina''; 7 August 1751 – 9 June 1820) was the consort of William V of Orange and the de facto leader of the dynastic party and counter-revolution in the Netherlands. Maria Aloysia Antonia Weber Lange ( – 8 June 1839) was a German soprano, remembered primarily for her association with the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Her father, Fridolin Weber, worked as a prompter and music copyist. Anna Maria Walburga Mozart (Married and maiden names, née Pertl; 25 December 1720 – 3 July 1778) was the mother of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Maria Anna Mozart. Life Youth Anna Maria was born in St. Gilgen, Archbishopric of Salzburg, to Eva Rosina and , deputy prefect of Hildenstein. Nicolaus had a university degree in jurisprudence from the University of Salzburg, Benedictine University in Salzburg and held many positions of responsibility, including district superintendent in St. Andrae.
