Myles Moylan
Myles Moylan (December 17, 1838 – December 11, 1909) was a United States Army officer with an extensive military career, which included the battle of Gettysburg, and the battle of the Little Bighorn. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his gallantry in leadership at the Battle of Bear Paw. He also participated in the Washita Massacre and Wounded Knee Massacre. Mary Alice "Marice" Moylan Wolfe (August 3, 1935 – January 3, 2022) was an American archivist. She was University Archivist and Head of Special Collections at Vanderbilt University for over 25 years, beginning in 1973. Early life and education Mary Alice Moylan was born in Warren, Ohio, and raised in Hammond, Indiana, one of the four daughters of Francis James Moylan and Harriette Brazzelle Moylan. She graduated from Bishop Noll High School in Hammond. Pat Moylan is an Irish former hurler who played as a midfielder at senior level for the Cork county team. Moylan joined the team during the 1970 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1981 championship. During that time he won three All-Ireland medals, three Munster medals, two National League medals and one All-Star award. At club level Moylan was a three-time All-Ireland medalist with Blackrock. Pat Moylan (born 12 September 1946) is an Irish former Fianna Fáil politician and member of Seanad Éireann. Born in Banagher, County Offaly, where he still lives, he is married with three sons and one daughter. A member of Offaly County Council from 1975 to 2004, Moylan was elected in 1997 to the 21st Seanad by the Agricultural Panel.
