It is situated along North Bridge Road, and is near the major commercial hub at Marina Centre. UCHealth Parkview Medical Center is an acute hospital in Pueblo, Colorado, U.S. A non-profit hospital, it has 266 staffed beds. The hospital is a Level III trauma center. The hospital is the largest employer in the city of Pueblo, with 3,000+ employees. History Parkview Medical Center began with a small hospital preceding it, being located at the Clark Spring Water sanitarium in the Grove neighborhood, specializing in selling mineral water. The disastrous Pueblo 1921 flood led to the closure of this small hospital despite the original building's survival. In 1923, a group of doctors from the former hospital grouped to form the modern Parkview Hospital, located at 17th Street and Grand Avenue, being in a small house. Furness Academy is a secondary school in Barrow-in-Furness, England. It is the fourth academy to have been formed in the county of Cumbria after the closure of Alfred Barrow School, Parkview Community College of Technology and Thorncliffe School in 2009. Having utilised numerous buildings of the former Parkview and Thorncliffe Schools since 2009, a single £22 million building opened in the Parkside area of the town in September 2013. Since opening, Furness Academy has gained a somewhat tarnished reputation from having the highest exclusion rate in England (between 2009 and 2010), and a number of Ofsted reports that judged it as inadequate. The 2012 report led to the academy unsuccessfully challenging Ofsted in the High Court, and the 2013 report led to the school's being placed in 'special measures' and the suspension of the academy's principal. Parkview Junior/Senior High School is a public secondary school located in the village of Orfordville, Wisconsin. It is the only high school in the Parkview School District and has an enrollment of approximately 300. History The former building, designed by Charles Pym, was constructed in 1964. It is now the elementary school. The junior high was added in 1970, after the original building was constructed. In April 2014, voters passed a referendum to spend $17 million to build a new high school and junior high on the site of the former Parkview Elementary, with the elementary students to occupy the former high school and junior high. Parkview High School is a public high school located in Springfield, Missouri. Part of Springfield Public Schools, it was the second high school to have been built in Springfield, after Central High School. History Parkview graduated its first class in 1957. The following year, a new wing was constructed due to the large number students enrolling. In 1992, an auditorium was added to Parkview for its music and drama productions. In 2001, a new music room was finished and renovations to other classrooms were completed. The most recent changes to Parkview have been the demolition of the old north wing and adding a new wing to replace it. It was completed and occupied in January 2006.
