Montréal-Ouest Station
Montréal-Ouest station () is a commuter rail station in the Montreal borough of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, adjacent to the border with the town of Montreal West, Quebec, Canada. It serves the Exo Vaudreuil-Hudson, Saint-Jérôme, and Candiac lines. Montréal-Ouest station is located in ARTM fare zone A, and has 20 parking spaces. It is the station where these three lines come together as one towards Lucien-L'Allier station. Origin of name Montréal-Ouest takes its name from the town of Montreal West, which this station serves. The town's main street, Westminster Avenue, crosses the tracks directly to the west of the station building. Windsor Station (Montreal)
Windsor Station is an office building and former railway station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It used to be the city's Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) station, and served as the headquarters of CPR from 1889 to 1996. It is bordered by Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal to the north, Peel Street to the east, Saint Antoine Street to the south and the Bell Centre to the west. Windsor Station was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1975, and was designated a Heritage Railway Station in 1990, and a provincial historic monument in 2009. Place Viger
Place Viger was both a grand hotel and railway station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, constructed in 1898 and named after Jacques Viger, the first Mayor of the city. Although combined stations and hotels were common in the United Kingdom in the late 19th century, Place Viger was the only such combination in Canada. Place Viger was designed by Bruce Price for the Canadian Pacific Railway, and was built near what was then the central core of Montreal, in proximity to the financial district, the city hall, the port and the court house. The mayor of Montreal, Raymond Préfontaine, strongly encouraged its construction in an area central to the French Canadian élites, in contrast to the rival Windsor Hotel to the west, which was perceived to cater to the city's anglophone classes. Adirondack (Amtrak)
The ''Adirondack'' is a daily intercity passenger train operated by Amtrak between New York City and Montreal. The scenic route follows the Empire Corridor through the Hudson Valley with major stops in Yonkers, Poughkeepsie, Albany–Rensselaer, and Schenectady. North of Saratoga Springs the route runs between the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain until crossing the Canada–U.S. border at Rouses Point. The ''Atlantic'' () was a passenger train operated by Via Rail, serving both Canadian and U.S. territory between Montreal, Quebec, and Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was previously operated by Canadian Pacific Railway as ''The Atlantic Limited'' between Montreal and Saint John, New Brunswick. It formed part of the transcontinental service for both systems. The Alouette was a passenger train jointly operated by the Boston and Maine Corporation, Boston and Maine Railroad and the Canadian Pacific Railway between Montreal, Quebec and Boston, Massachusetts.
