Money In The Bank (2017)
The 2017 Money in the Bank was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the eighth annual Money in the Bank and took place on June 18, 2017, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's SmackDown brand division. It was the first event to feature a women's Money in the Bank ladder match, and was also the only brand-exclusive Money in the Bank event to be held during either of WWE's brand extension periods. Seven matches were contested at the event, including one on the Kickoff pre-show and two Money in the Bank ladder matches on the main card. The New Day is a Heel (professional wrestling), villainous professional wrestling tag team consisting of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Money In The Bank Ladder Match
The Money in the Bank ladder match is a multi-person ladder match held by the professional wrestling promotion WWE. First performed at WWE's annual WrestleMania event beginning in 2005, a separate WWE Money in the Bank, Money in the Bank event was established in 2010. The prize of the match is a briefcase containing a contract for a Professional wrestling championship, championship match of the winner's choice, which, within WWEs Kayfabe, fictional storyline, can be "cashed in" by the holder of the briefcase at any point in the year following their victory. If the contract is not used within a year of winning it, it will be invalid, but this has yet to happen. WWE Raw, Raw is a WWE brand extension, brand of the American professional wrestling promotion WWE that was established on March 25, 2002. Ladder Match
A ladder match is a type of match in professional wrestling, most commonly one in which an item (usually a title belt) is hung above the ring, and the winner is the contestant who climbs a ladder and retrieves the item. The ladder itself becomes a key feature of the match, as wrestlers will use the ladder as a weapon to strike the opponent(s), as a launching pad for acrobatic attacks, and frequently these matches include impressive falls from the top of the ladder. In professional wrestling, a gimmick generally refers to a wrestler's in-ring persona, character, behaviour, attire, and/or other distinguishing traits while performing which are usually artificially created in order to draw fan interest. These in-ring personalities often involve costumes, makeup and catchphrases that they shout at their opponents or the fans. Gimmicks can be designed to work as good guys/heroes (face (professional wrestling), babyfaces) or bad guys/villains (heel (professional wrestling), heel) depending on the wrestler's desire to be popular or hated by the crowd. Michael Bennett (born May 16, 1985) is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is one-half of The Kingdom with Matt Taven. The Women's World Championship is a women's professional wrestling world championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE, defended on the Raw brand division.
