Money In The Bank (2016)
The 2016 Money in the Bank was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming List of WWE pay-per-view and livestreaming supercards, event produced by WWE. It was the seventh annual WWE Money in the Bank, Money in the Bank and took place on June 19, 2016, at the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada, Paradise, Nevada. This was the first WWE event to take place at this venue, and also the last WWE PPV and livestreaming event to be held before the reintroduction of the WWE brand extension, brand extension in July. Eleven matches were contested at the event, with two matches contested on the Kickoff pre-show. Ladder Match
A ladder match is a type of match in professional wrestling, most commonly one in which an item (usually a title belt) is hung above the ring, and the winner is the contestant who climbs a ladder and retrieves the item. The ladder itself becomes a key feature of the match, as wrestlers will use the ladder as a weapon to strike the opponent(s), as a launching pad for acrobatic attacks, and frequently these matches include impressive falls from the top of the ladder. In professional wrestling, a gimmick generally refers to a wrestler's in-ring persona, character, behaviour, attire, and/or other distinguishing traits while performing which are usually artificially created in order to draw fan interest. These in-ring personalities often involve costumes, makeup and catchphrases that they shout at their opponents or the fans. Gimmicks can be designed to work as good guys/heroes (face (professional wrestling), babyfaces) or bad guys/villains (heel (professional wrestling), heel) depending on the wrestler's desire to be popular or hated by the crowd.
