Molson Export beer is a Canadian ale brewed by Molson at a strength of 5% alcohol by volume. It was first brewed in 1903 and is the oldest Molson beer brand still in production. Red Dog (beer)
''Red Dog'' is a beer produced by the Miller Brewing Company and is part of their Plank Road Brewery Family. The beer contains 4.8% alcohol by volume. It was introduced in 1994. History Red Dog was introduced in 1994 and is brewed with two barley malts and five varieties of American hops. "Plank Road Brewery" was the name of Frederick Miller's first brewhouse in the 19th century. The Plank Road name was resurrected in the 1990s to sell Icehouse and Red Dog as a more premium beer under a different name, so as not to directly associate them with Miller Brewing. Using the tag line "Be Your Own Dog," Tommy Lee Jones was hired to voice Red Dog TV commercials in the ad campaign from the creative team of Michael McLaughlin and Stephen Creet at BBDO, Toronto. Old Style Pilsner
Old Style Pilsner (often known as Pilsner, Pilly, Pil or ‘Sner) is a brand of beer brewed by Molson-Coors Canada Inc. Created in the pilsner style, it has been brewed in western Canada since 1926. Old Style Pilsner was first brewed in 1926 by Fritz Sick at his Sick's Breweries Ltd. in Lethbridge, Alberta. The beer was and still is brewed after the formula of the House of Lethbridge, which can be seen in the top left hand side of the label. Sick's Breweries Ltd. grew in the early half of the 20th century to include breweries located throughout western Canada and the United States. In 1958, Sick's Breweries Ltd., along with the Old Style Pilsner Brand, was bought by Molson Inc. Old Style Pilsner became available in Ontario in 1992 but only remained available for a few years there. Olde English 800 is a brand of American malt liquor brewed by the Miller Brewing Company. It was introduced in 1964, and has been produced by the company since 1999. It is available in a variety of serving sizes including, since the late 1980s, a bottle. History Introduction Olde English 800, also known as 8 ball or Old E (O’ E or Ol' E in some colloquial dialects), was introduced in 1964. It had its origins in the late 1940s as ''Ruff's Olde English Stout'', brewed by Peoples Brewing Company of Duluth, Minnesota. Mickey's
Mickey's is a brand of malt liquor made by the Miller Brewing Company, a subsidiary of Molson Coors. It has a 5.6% ABV. The brand was created by Sterling Brewery in Evansville, Indiana, which brewed it from 1962 through 1972, when the company was purchased by the G. Heileman Brewing Company. In 1996, G. Heileman was acquired by the Stroh Brewery Company who then sold the brand to Miller during their 1999 closure. Mickey's is known for its bright green barrel-shaped, waffle-ribbed wide-mouthed 12-ounce bottle. It features an image of a hornet on the label and the cap, and rebus puzzles beneath it. At some point Mickey's began to sponsor the Ultimate Fighting Championship, using the phrase, "Get Stung", and has featured several UFC fighters on 24 ounce cans. Henry Weinhard's
Blitz-Weinhard was a brand of beer first brewed in 1856 in Portland, Oregon. The brewery was owned by the brewer Henry Weinhard of the Weinhard family, who also made a line of soft drinks which survives to this day. The Blitz-Weinhard brand was among several regional Pacific Northwest beers which were staples in that market during the decades following the repeal of Prohibition. Crispin Cider is a hard apple cider company based and produced in Minneapolis, Minnesota by Minneapolis Cider Company. Crispin was formerly located in Minneapolis. The company acquired Fox Barrel Cider in 2010. The purchase included its cidery in Colfax where the company is now headquartered. In early 2011, Crispin began importing a dry English cider, Browns Lane (named after the original Jaguar factory in Coventry), from England. Creemore Springs
Creemore Springs is a brewery in Creemore, Ontario, Canada, which first opened in 1987. It was founded by John Wiggins, and its flagship brew was a premium amber lager brewed with specialty malts, fire brewed in a copper kettle. In 2005, it was acquired by Molson, a subsidiary of the seventh largest (at the time) brewery corporation in the world, Molson Coors Brewing Company. The brewery is known for not using preservatives during the brew process or pasteurizing afterwards. Because of this, it recommends perpetual refrigeration. The brewery states that it uses only four ingredients in its brewing process: malted barley, hops, water, and yeast. These are the four ingredients allowed to be in beer according to the Bavarian Purity Law, which all Creemore Springs beers follow.
