Mizuho Ōta
was the pen-name of , a Japanese poet and scholar of Japanese literature, active in Shōwa period Japan. He also occasionally used another pen name, ''Mizuhonoya''. Early life Ōta was born in Chikuma District, Nagano prefecture in what is now part of the city of Shiojiri. While still a student at Nagano Normal School (now Shinshu University), he taught himself the basics of traditional Japanese poetry by studying the ancient Japanese literature classics such as the ''Man'yōshū'' and '' Kokinshū,'' When he began writing his own poetry, he was able to get it published in the prestigious literary journal, ''Bungakukai'', which was enough to make him realize that life as a professional poet was unrealistic. 2090 Mizuho, provisional designation , is a stony asteroid from the outer region of the asteroid belt, approximately 18 kilometers in diameter. The asteroid was discovered on 12 March 1978, by Japanese astronomer Takeshi Urata at the JCPM Yakiimo Station in Shimizu, Japan, who named it after his daughter, Mizuho Urata. Orbit and classification ''Mizuho'' orbits the Sun in the outer main-belt at a distance of 2.7–3.5  AU once every 5 years and 5 months (1,967 days). Its orbit has an eccentricity of 0.13 and an inclination of 12 ° with respect to the ecliptic. The asteroid was first identified as at Simeiz Observatory. The is a limited-stop Shinkansen service operated between and in Japan since 12 March 2011, following the completion of the Kyushu Shinkansen. The name was formerly used for a limited express sleeping car service operated by JNR from 1961, which ran from Tokyo to Kumamoto, and was discontinued in December 1994. The name "" literally means "abundant rice" in Japanese and "harvest" in the figurative sense. It was also an ancient name of Japan. Foreigners traveling with a Japan Rail Pass are required to purchase a special ticket to use the ''Mizuho'' service. Zone (band)
was an all-female rock band started in Sapporo, Japan, in 1997. It started as a dance group and turned into an all-female band. Zone has been categorized in a new genre called "bandol" (a portmanteau of the words "band" and " idol"). The band was started and managed by Studio RunTime and its first single, "Good Days", was released by the major record label Sony Records, on February 7, 2001. Mizuho Sakaguchi
is a former Japanese footballer who played as a midfielder. She last played for Omiya Ardija Ventus in the WE League and the Japan national team. Club career Sakaguchi was born in Sakai on October 15, 1987. In 2003, at the age of 15, she debuted in the L.League at Speranza FC Takatsuki. After graduating from high school, she joined Tasaki Perule FC in 2006. She was selected Best Eleven in 2007. However, the club was disbanded in 2008 due to financial strain.
