Miss Puerto Rico
Miss Puerto Rico is a national title bestowed on the women representing Puerto Rico in international beauty pageants. Although an Territories of the United States, American territory, Puerto Rico participates in international sports competitions and beauty pageants under the flag of Puerto Rico as an entity separate from the United States. Miss Universe 2001
Miss Universe 2001 was the 50th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant, held at the Coliseo Rubén Rodríguez in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on May 11, 2001. At the conclusion of the event, Lara Dutta of India crowned Denise Quiñones of Puerto Rico as Miss Universe 2001. This was Puerto Rico's fourth win in the history of the pageant. Contestants from seventy-seven countries competed in this pageant. The competition was hosted by Elle Macpherson and Naomi Campbell, Todd Newton acted as backstage correspondent, while Miss Universe 1997 provided commentary for the whole event. Miss Supranational 2018 was the tenth Miss Supranational pageant, held at the MOSIR Arena in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland, on December 7, 2018. Miss Earth 2019
Miss Earth 2019 was the 19th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines, on October 26, 2019. Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam crowned Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico as her successor at the end of the event. This marks the first time Puerto Rico has won Miss Earth, becoming the first territory to win at least once in all of the Big Four beauty pageants.
