Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2022
Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2022 was the 15th Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held in Orlando, Florida. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the planned 2021 edition was originally scheduled on August 8, 2020, the preliminary competitions were also scheduled on August 4–6, 2020, but it was postponed indefinitely. It has been announced that pageant would be held on July 10, 2021, with preliminary competitions were held on July 7–8, 2021. Payton May of Washington crowned her successor, Marcelle LeBlanc of Alabama, at the end of the event. Ericka Dunlap
Ericka Dunlap (born December 29, 1981) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Orlando, Florida who was named Miss Florida 2003 and subsequently crowned Miss America 2004. Dunlap was the first African American woman to be crowned Miss Florida in the Miss America pageant's 81-year history. As of 2022, she is the only African American woman to have been crowned Miss Florida. Personal Dunlap is a native of Orlando, attended William R. Boone High School, and is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. While attending college at the University of Central Florida, she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. Miss Alaska's Outstanding Teen
The Miss Alaska's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for Alaska in the Miss America's Teen pageant. Lynciemae Adams of Anchorage was crowned Miss Alaska's Outstanding Teen on June 8, 2023 at the UAA Wendy Williamson Performing Arts Center in Anchorage, Alaska. She will compete in the Miss America's Teen 2024 pageant. In January of 2023, the official name of the pageant was changed from Miss Alaska's Outstanding Teen, to Miss Alaska's Teen, in accordance with the national pageant. The eighth season of ''American Idol'' premiered on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, and concluded on May 20, 2009. Miss Mississippi is a scholarship beauty contest, pageant and a preliminary of Miss America. The contest began in 1934, has been held in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Vicksburg since 1958, and provides more money than any other scholarship pageant in the Miss America Organization. Four Miss Mississippis have won the Miss America crown: Mary Ann Mobley (1959), Lynda Lee Mead (1960), Cheryl Prewitt (1980), and Susan Akin (1986). She is best known for being a finalist on the eighth season of ''American Idol'' where she placed 12th–13th alongside Jorge Núñez.
