The Ministry of the State Administration Council Chairman's Office () is a ministry responsible for handling the affairs of the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council. It was established on 8 January 2024, nearly three years after the military coup. The ministry was formed to replace the former Union Government Office Ministries (1) and (2). Ko Ko Hlaing (, born 24 October 1956 in Myinmu) is a Burmese military researcher and writer, served under Thein Sein as the chief political advisor to the President's Office of Myanmar, after being appointed on 19 April 2011. Myint Swe
Myint Swe (; ; born 5 June 1950) is a Burmese politician and retired army officer who has been Vice President of Myanmar since 30 March 2016 and previously served as Acting President of Myanmar from 1 February 2021 to 22 July 2024. He also served as the acting president from 21 March 2018 to 30 March 2018 after the resignation of President Htin Kyaw, and the chief minister of Yangon Region from 30 March 2011 to 30 March 2016. A member of the military proxy Union Solidarity and Development Party, he is an ethnic Mon and a former lieutenant general in the Myanmar Army.
