The Ministry of Deregulation and State Transformation () of Argentina is a ministry of the national executive power. Its purpose is to help the president and chief of the Cabinet of Ministers in matters related to deregulation, reform, and modernization efforts. The inaugural and current head of the Ministry is Federico Sturzenegger, who was appointed on 5 July 2024. The Ministry was created after the passing of the law of Bases and Starting Points for the Freedom of Argentines, which enjoys powers delegated by the government, necessary requirements to allow the Ministry to function in eliminating, modifying, or implementing decrees. Federico Sturzenegger
Federico Sturzenegger (born 11 February 1966) is an Argentine economist who is the current head of the Ministry of Deregulation and State Transformation under Javier Milei's presidency. He previously served as President of the Central Bank between 2015 and 2018. He was a professor of economics at University of California, Los Angeles, Torcuato di Tella University (where he also was Dean of the Business School), and Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University. Currently he teaches at University of San Andres and is Honoris Causa Professor at HEC Paris. Javier Gerardo Milei (born 22 October 1970) is an Argentine politician and economist who has served as President of Argentina since 2023.
