Milenia Fiedler
Milenia Fiedler (born 20 December 1966) is a Polish film editor. She graduated in film editing from Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and obtained her Ph.D. in 2005. Among others, she worked with Andrzej Wajda, Janusz Majewski, Wojciech Marczewski, Jerzy Stuhr and Janusz Zaorski. She is the chairman of the Polish Film Editors Society (''Polskie Stowarzyszenie Montażystów''). Fiedler was nominated for the Polish Academy Award for Best Editing three times (2002, 2008, 2014). In 2002, she won the award for ''Weiser'', for which she also received the Award for Best Editing during the Gdynia Film Festival. Łódź, also rendered in English as Lodz, is a city in central Poland and a former industrial centre. It is the capital of Łódź Voivodeship, and is located approximately south-west of Warsaw. The Gdynia Film Festival (until 2011: Polish Film Festival, Polish: ''Festiwal Polskich Filmów Fabularnych w Gdyni'') is an annual film festival first held in Gdańsk (1974–1986), now held in Gdynia, Poland. It has taken place every year since 1974, except in 1982 and 1983 when Poland was under martial law. The organizers of the festival are the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, Polish Film Institute (PISF), Polish Filmmakers Association, the Pomeranian Voivodeship Local Government as well as the port city of Gdynia. ''Jutro idziemy do kina'' (English: ''Tomorrow we are going to the movies'') is a 2007 Polish Television movie, directed by Michał Kwieciński. It tells a story of three friends, who graduated from high school in May 1938. Two of them joined the army, and the third became a student of medicine.
