Microsoft Office 2016
Microsoft Office 2016 (codenamed Office 16) is a version of the Microsoft Office productivity suite, succeeding both Office 2013 and Office for Mac 2011 and preceding Office 2019 for both platforms. It was released on macOS on July 9, 2015, and on Microsoft Windows on September 22, 2015, for Office 365 subscribers. Mainstream support ended on October 13, 2020, and extended support for most editions of Office 2016 will end on October 14, 2025. The perpetually licensed version on macOS and Windows was released on September 22, 2015. Office 2016 is compatible with Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 through Windows 11 24H2 and Windows Server 2022. It is also compatible with OS X Yosemite through macOS Sequoia. Windows Server 2012 R2
Windows Server 2012 R2, codenamed "Windows Server Blue", is the tenth major version of the Windows NT operating system produced by Microsoft to be released under the Windows Server brand name. It was unveiled on June 3, 2013, at TechEd North America, and released on October 18 of the same year. It is the successor to Windows Server 2012, and is based on the Windows 8.1 codebase. It is the final version of Windows Server to use the "R2" suffix, which had been used since the release of Windows Server 2003 R2. It removed support for processors without CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW, LAHF and SAHF. A further update, formally designated Windows Server 2012 R2 Update, was released in April 2014. Windows Server 2012, codenamed "Windows Server 8", is the ninth major version of the Windows NT operating system produced by Microsoft to be released under the Windows Server brand name. It is the server version of Windows based on Windows 8 and succeeds the Windows 7-based Windows Server 2008 R2, released nearly three years earlier. Two pre-release versions, a developer preview and a beta version, were released during development. The software was officially launched on September 4, 2012, which was the month before the release of Windows 8. It was succeeded by Windows Server 2012 R2 . Windows Server 2022 is the thirteenth major version of the Windows NT operating system produced by Microsoft to be released under the Windows Server brand name. It was announced at Microsoft's Ignite event from March 2–4, 2021. It was released on August 18, 2021, almost 3 years after Windows Server 2019, and a few months before the Windows 11 operating system. Windows Server 2022 is based on the "Iron" codebase.
