Mick O'Callaghan (rugby Union, Born 1936)
Michael Paul O'Callaghan (1936 — 15 April 2018) was an Irish international rugby union player. Cork-native O'Callaghan was a prop who lacked the height traditionally required for the position, but was quick around the pitch. He played his club rugby for Sundays Well RFC, Sundays Well, London Irish and Young Munster. O'Callaghan was capped three times for Ireland national rugby union team, Ireland, debuting in a draw against Wales at Lansdowne Road during the 1962 Five Nations. His other two caps came in away 1964 Five Nations matches against England and France. A Munster Rugby, Munster representative, O'Callaghan was one of their best performers in a narrow loss to the touring All Blacks in 1963, playing the majority of the match with his head stitched and covered in bandages. He was also in the Munster side that beat the touring Australian team in 1967. O'Callaghan was an electrical contractor by profession. Montenotte, Cork
Montenotte is an area in the northeast of Cork City, Ireland, which was home to merchants and a prosperous middle class from the early to mid-19th century. Sundays Well RFC Players
The Sundays were an English alternative rock band, formed in the late 1980s, which released three albums throughout the 1990s. The band's beginnings came with the meeting of singer Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin while attending Bristol University. Wheeler had played gigs with Cruel Shoes, an early incarnation of the band Jim Jiminee. The duo soon augmented the band with bassist Paul Brindley and drummer Patrick Hannan. The Sundays secured a recording contract with Rough Trade Records. Their debut single was "Can't Be Sure". Their first album, ''Reading, Writing and Arithmetic'', was released in 1990, along with their next single "Here's Where the Story Ends", and became a UK top 5 hit. ''Ireland's Saturday Night'' was a Northern Ireland sports newspaper, which was part of the Belfast Telegraph group. It was launched in 1894 under its original title, ''Ulster Saturday Night'', changing to ''Ireland's Saturday Night'' in 1896 and running two separate editions; one for north and one for the south of Ireland.
