Michigan's 37th House of Representatives district (also referred to as Michigan's 37th House district) is a legislative district within the Michigan House of Representatives located in parts of Berrien County, Michigan, Berrien and Cass County, Michigan, Cass counties. The district was created in 1965, when the Michigan House of Representatives district naming scheme changed from a county-based system to a numerical one. The 2012 Michigan House of Representatives elections were held on November 6, 2012, with partisan primaries to select the parties' nominees in the various districts on August 7, 2012. The Republican Party retained its majority in the House of Representatives despite losing the popular vote. Rep.
