Mew (software)
is a female vocal released for Vocaloid 3. Her sampled voice is provided by Japanese female singer Miu Sakamoto. Development Mew was first featured on the CD "THE VOCALOIDS" and sang the song "LINE," by Yuyoyuppe. Her cover art was revealed on September 13, 2011. The vocal was released on September 30, 2011 along with the vocal packages SeeU, V3 Megpoid and VY1v3, making her one of the first four Vocaloid 3 releases offered for that version of Vocaloid. The original version of Mew was discontinued from sale on April 20, 2013. The package was replaced with a re-release called "Mew SE". In 2013, a Mac version of Mew called "Mew NEO" was released. This version of the software is a much more expansive version, containing many new features, three new languages and many more vocals than past software versions combined. , known professionally as , is a Japanese DJ, songwriter, producer, and singer, known for his Vocaloid music. Early life Takehiro Mamiya was born on September 25, 1989, when his parents were expecting a baby girl. He first learned to play the guitar in the sixth grade, by his father. First playing on piano and guitar in junior high school, he began to write music for club activities, and later performed on guitar and vocals in a band since high school. Career In 2008, Yuyoyuppe began to post videos on the video sharing service Nico Nico Douga, where he would become well known for his Vocaloid songs with elements of hard rock, with considerable success for his song "Hope", sung by Hatsune Miku. SeeU () is a female Korean vocal created for the Vocaloid 3 software by SBS A&T (formerly SBS Artech) and was the only Korean vocal released for that version of the software. As well as a Korean vocal, she possessed a Japanese vocal. The voice behind her is Dahee Kim from the band GLAM. Development On June 6, 2011, a demo called I=Fantasy that was produced by Bang Shi Hyuk (a.k.a. Hitman Bang), was introduced during the VOCALOID3 announcement. On August 30, her name and appearance was revealed. Pre-orders for SeeU took place on October 14, 2011, and a community called ''CreCrew'' was opened. is a Vocaloid by Internet Co., Ltd. Her voice is sampled by Megumi Nakajima. The mascot of the software is called (stylized as GUMI). She is also sometimes called Megpoid GUMI, or GUMI Megpoid.
