This is a list of men's magazines from around the world. These are magazines (periodical print publications) that have been published primarily for a readership of men. The list has been split into subcategories according to the target audience of the magazines. This list includes adult magazines. Not included here are magazines which may happen to have, or may be assumed to have, a predominantly male audience - such as magazines focusing on cars, trains, modelbuilding and gadgets. The list excludes online publications. General male audience These publications appeal to a broad male audience. Some skew toward men's fashion, others to health. Men's Vogue
''Men's Vogue'' was a monthly men's magazine that covered culture, fashion, design, art, sports, and technology. The premier issue was August 2005; the magazine was published on a quarterly schedule. It subsequently went bimonthly before stepping up to a full ten issues a year in 2007. In 2008, '' Adweek'' named ''Men's Vogue'' "Startup of the Year." On October 30, 2008, Condé Nast announced that they would fold the magazine into '' Vogue'' proper as a biannual subscriber's supplement. The magazine has ceased to be published since its original folding date. Cover stories The magazine featured a cover profile of George Clooney in its inaugural issue. Subsequently, Roger Federer, Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps, Denzel Washington, Kiefer Sutherland, Viggo Mortensen, Tony Blair and Barack Obama, among other notable male subjects, were featured on the cover. The Chap
''The Chap'' is a British humorous men's lifestyle magazine published quarterly. It was founded in 1999 by Gustav Temple and Vic Darkwood, and is still edited by Temple. The magazine proposes that men everywhere return to a more gentlemanly way of life by rejecting modern vulgarity and careless, shabby or faddish dress sense through the restoration of the lifestyle, habits, manners and traditional fashion sense of a mid-20th century (or earlier) British ''chap''. Thus it advises men to wear traditional British suits and other similar well-tailored clothing, especially those cut from tweed; to keep their trousers sharply pressed; to be impeccably groomed; to wear quality handmade shoes, brightly polished; and to return to the everyday wearing of hats. ''Tiger'' was an American men's magazine that featured photographs of pin-up girls as well as journalism and fiction. It was founded in Chicago in 1956 by G. George Fox, Jr. and published by Reynard Press into the mid-1960s. The first issue was Vol. 1 No. 1 dated May 1956. ''Tiger'' was printed bi-monthly and circulated throughout the United States by paid subscription with the banner proclaiming "Every Man A Tiger" and featuring articles on music, sports cars, books, arts and antiques for men, along with a pin-up centerfold girl called "Miss Tiger" and a cartoon section called the "Tiger's Den." ''Penthouse'' is a List of men's magazines, men's magazine founded by Bob Guccione and published by Los Angeles–based Penthouse World Media, LLC. It combines urban lifestyle articles and Softcore pornography, softcore pornographic pictures of women that, in the 1990s, evolved into Hardcore pornography, hardcore pornographic pictures of women. Although Guccione was American, the magazine was founded in the United Kingdom in 1965, and first published simultaneously in the UK and the U.S. in March 1965.
