Men's Highest Floorball League Of Latvia
The Latvian Men's Elite Floorball League (), also known as Elvi Floorball League for sponsorship reasons with the Latvian grocery chain Elvi, is the top men's floorball league in Latvia. There are 10 teams participating in the league 2024-25 season. Throughout the regular season, each team plays two games against one another—one home and one away. Once the regular season ends, the top 8 teams qualify for the playoff round. The season standings determine the opponent the team plays in the postseason. The winners of the quarterfinals and semifinals are determined in a 7-game series, with the winner advancing after winning 4 games. The final is a single game played in a neutral location. EuroFloorball Cup
The Champions Cup is floorball tournament organized by the International Floorball Federation for the best clubs from the top four countries according to IFF World Ranking. Since 2019, those are Sweden, the Czech Republic, Finland and Switzerland, both for men and women. The tournament culminates every year in January both for men's and women's teams, that won in the previous season in their national league and cup competitions. That means, there are eight men's and eight women's teams in the tournament in total. In various formats, the tournament took place 30 times, the last time in 2025. The first tournament was played in 1993. The new format with eight teams is used since 2024. Swedes won most titles, 24 in men's and 25 in women's tournaments. Among the teams, Sweden's IBF Falun are the most successful with five wins in the men's category and IKSU with seven in the women's. FK Rīga (floorball)
FK Rīga was a Latvian football club based in Riga. They played in the Virslīga, the top division in Latvian football. They played their home games at Latvijas Universitātes Stadions. In 1999, its first year of existence, the club won the Latvian Cup, beating Skonto at the final. The club also played in the UEFA Cup. In 2007, FK Rīga achieved its best result in Virslīga so far by finishing 3rd as the highest placed club from Riga. FK Rīga played in the 2008 Intertoto Cup. Their first round opponents were Fylkir from suburban Árbær in the eastern part of Reykjavík. In the second round. they played Irish club Bohemian and, as against Fylkir, the home leg was played in the city of Liepāja, approximately 217 kilometres from Riga. Ulbroka(floorball Club)
Ulbroka is a village in Stopiņi Parish, Ropaži Municipality in the Vidzeme region of Latvia. It is the administrative center of Stopiņi Parish and municipality. The village is crossed by two first category roads Rīga-Ērgļi (P4) and Rīga-Ogre (P5). In 2000 Ulbroka had 2,701 inhabitants, rising to 3,102 in 2021.
