Maxwell Field At Warrior Stadium
Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium, also known as Maxwell Field, is a stadium at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. It has been the home to Winona State Warriors football team since at least the 1937 season, and the women's soccer team since 1995. It was named "Maxwell Field" in honor of then-current Winona State president Guy Maxwell. Maxwell Hall, formerly the Maxwell Library, was also named in his honor. History On August 5, 2004, Winona State University and Midwest Wireless entered into a ten-year agreement making the name of the football stadium "Maxwell Field at Midwest Wireless Stadium". The agreement called for Midwest Wireless to donate $250,000 to the Winona State University Athletic Department. The Minnesota Golden Gophers (commonly shortened to Gophers) are the college athletics, college sports teams of the University of Minnesota. The university fields a total of 21 (9 men's, 12 women's) teams in both men's and women's sports and competes in the Big Ten Conference. Sea Foam Stadium
Sea Foam Stadium is the football field on the campus of Concordia University, Saint Paul in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It opened in 2009, and seats about 3,500 spectators. The Stadium includes a football/soccer field with artificial turf, running track, scoreboard, lights, bleachers, parking, concession facilities, locker rooms, weight room, press box, outdoor plaza, and inflatable dome, somewhat resembling a marshmallow, during the winter months. As of August 2023, the stadium has a Daktronics videoboard and speaker on the north end-zone. The stadium cost a total of $14.5 million to construct and is named so because of a $5 million donation by Sea Foam Sales Company.
