''MasterChef Australia'' is an Australian competitive cooking reality show based on the original British ''MasterChef (British TV series), MasterChef''. It is produced by Endemol Shine Australia and screens on Network 10. Restaurateur and chef Gary Mehigan, chef George Calombaris and food critic Matt Preston served as the show's original hosts and judges until 2019, when they were replaced by MasterChef Australia (series 4), Series 4 winner and chef Andy Allen (chef), Andy Allen, food critic Melissa Leong, and restaurateur and chef Jock Zonfrillo. After Zonfrillo's sudden death and Leong’s departure, Allen was joined by MasterChef Australia (series 1), Series 1 runner-up Poh Ling Yeow, food writer Sofia Levin and French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli. Dinesh Wicks
Dinesh Wicks (born 26 November 1974) is an Australian composer, creative director and music entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of The D.A's Office, a music production and composition house specialising in music for screen. Dinesh Wickremeratne was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1974, moving to Australia with his parents in 1976 and residing in Sydney until relocating to Los Angeles in 2012. Wicks is a featured composer on the scores for over 300 TV series, and together with his creative and business partner Adam Gock has won the APRA AMCOS Screen Music Award for 'Most Performed Composer – Australia' nine times (2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2012, 2011). Wicks and Gock were recognised for their contribution to the Australian music industry in 2014 with the coveted APRA AMCOS International Achievement Award. MasterChef (British TV Series)
''MasterChef'' is a British competitive cooking reality show produced by Endemol Shine UK and Banijay and broadcast in 60 countries around the world. ''MasterChef Australia All-Stars'' is an Australian cooking reality show that aired on Network Ten from 26 July 2012. It featured a number of returning contestants from the first three seasons of ''MasterChef Australia'' (including season 1 and season 3 winners Julie Goodwin and Kate Bracks), revisiting past challenges in order to raise money for charity. The series aired for three weeks, mostly during the 2012 Summer Olympics.
