Marvel's Iron Man VR
''Marvel's Iron Man VR'' is a virtual reality first-person shooter video game developed by Camouflaj and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Released for the PlayStation VR headset, it is based on the Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man and inspired by the long-running comic book mythology and adaptations in other media. The game's story revolves around Iron Man's conflict with a mysterious computer hacker and terrorist known only as Ghost, who targets Tony Stark and his company while seeking revenge for the deaths caused by the weapons the company manufactured prior to Stark becoming Iron Man. Gameplay is presented from a first-person perspective, calling on the player to navigate the game's virtual space by using the flying mechanics and weapon systems of the Iron Man armor to attack enemies primarily in aerial combat across several environments. Camouflaj is a video game development company based in Bellevue, Washington. Founded in 2011 by Ryan Payton, the studio is most known for developing '' République'', ''Iron Man VR'', and '' Batman: Arkham Shadow''. The studio was acquired by Meta Platforms in 2022. History The studio was founded in September 2011 by Ryan Payton, who had previously worked at Kojima Productions and 343 Industries. He left 343 Industries to found his own studio due to his lack of motivation working on ''Halo 4'' and his desire of working on games that are of smaller scale. Seeing the success of mobile game such as ''Infinity Blade'', the studio began pitching their next project named '' République'' to various publishers such as Bungie. With no partner willing to publish the game, the studio decided to crowdfund it through Kickstarter. Ghost is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by David Michelinie and Bob Layton, the character first appeared in ''Iron Man (comic book), Iron Man'' #219 (June 1987). Ghost is a genius inventor and hacker who wears a battle suit that allows him to become invisible and intangible. Although he started out as an adversary of the superhero Iron Man, Ghost has also been depicted as an antihero and member of the Thunderbolts (comics), Thunderbolts. Joshua Luis Wiener (born February 8, 1979), known professionally as Josh Keaton, is an American actor.
