Marko Nikolić (football Manager)
Marko Nikolić ( sr-cyrl, Марко Николић; born 20 July 1979) is a Serbian professional football manager who is the current manager of Greek Super League club AEK Athens. Early life Born in Belgrade, Nikolić joined Rad as a trainee in 1989. He played for the club at all youth levels, together with the likes of Ivica Iliev, Milan Martinović, and Nemanja Vučićević, among others. After completing his formation, Nikolić spent some time on loan with third-tier club Dorćol, before retiring from the game due to an injury. Managerial career Spells at Rad In his early 20s, Nikolić worked with Rad's youth teams for many years, before being promoted to the senior squad in 2008. Ivica Iliev
Ivica Iliev (, ; born 27 October 1979) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Partizan After starting out as a youngster at Rad, Iliev joined the youth system of Partizan in January 1996. He made his first-team debut under manager Ljubiša Tumbaković during the 1997–98 season, recording four league appearances in the process. In the 1998–99 season, Iliev scored his first goals for Partizan, including a header in a 3–2 home loss to Lazio in the return leg of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup second round. Branislav Trajković ( sr-Cyrl, Бранислав Трајковић; born 29 August 1989) is a Serbian footballer who plays as a centre-back for Ušće Novi Beograd. Petar Škuletić ( sr-Cyrl, Петар Шкулетић; born 29 June 1990) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Miroslav Vulićević (; born 29 May 1985) is a retired Serbian professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Early years Vulićević began playing football at Kosmet Leposavić, before moving to Bane. He made his debut for their first team in the Second League of FR Yugoslavia at the age of 17. During the 2004 winter transfer window, Vulićević switched to Javor Ivanjica, staying there until the summer of 2009. Vuk Rašović (Serbian Cyrillic: Вук Рашовић; born 3 January 1973) is a Serbian football manager and former player who played as a defender. He is the currently head coach of UAE Pro League club Kalba FC. Playing career Rašović started to play for the youth teams of FK Partizan. He played professionally, initially, with FK Rad and Bulgarian Slavia Sofia. Then he returned to FK Partizan where he played from 1998 to 2002. In 2002, he moved to Krylia Sovetov of Russia, where he played between 2002 and 2003. 2010–11 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2010–11 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the fifth season of the Serbian SuperLiga, the top football league of Serbia established in 2006. It began on 14 August 2010 and ended on 29 May 2011. A total of sixteen teams contested the league. Partizan successfully defended their title after a 1–1 draw at Metalac Gornji Milanovac with one match left to play. It was their fourth consecutive Serbian title and their 23rd domestic championship. Teams Napredak Kruševac and Mladi Radnik were relegated to the 2010–11 Serbian First League after the 2009–10 season for finishing in 15th and 16th place, respectively. 2008–09 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2008–09 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the third season of the league since its establishment in 2006. It began on 16 August 2008 and ended on 30 May 2009. Partizan successfully defended their title. Team changes from 2007–08 FK Bežanija were relegated to the Serbian First League after finishing in 12th place. Promoted from the First League were champions FK Javor Ivanjica and runners-up FK Jagodina. FK Smederevo, having finished in 10th place, had to play a two-legged play-off against the fourth-placed team from the First League, FK Rad. Rad won 4–3 on aggregate and thus were promoted to the SuperLiga while Smederevo were also relegated. The Serbian Super League (), also known as Mozzart SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Serbia and the highest level of the Serbian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Serbian First League. The SuperLiga was formed during the summer of 2005 as the country's top football league competition in Serbia and Montenegro.
