Mark Webb (placekicker)
Mark "Spider" Webb (born 7 August 1960) is a former British American football kicker regarded by some as one of the best kickers in British history. He played his entire career for the Birmingham Bulls. Playing career Webb was a former association football player who had become "bored and disillusioned" with the sport and answered a newspaper advert attempting to recruit players to the Birmingham Bulls. At the start of his career, he was in direct competition with GB Lions kicker Richard Meanwell, who also played rugby for Moseley RFC, and had previously represented England at under-19 level. Webb was part of the 1986 Summer Bowl II winning side, but it was Meanwell who kicked a field goal in the final. Despite thoughts of retirement, he returned for the 1988 season as the Bulls' lone placekicker, following the retirement of Meanwell and was part of another national championship winning side, but found himself on the losing side in 1989. Mark S. Webb (born September 10, 1998) is an American football safety who is a free agent. He played college football at Georgia. Professional career Webb was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the seventh round, 241st overall, of the 2021 NFL draft. On May 16, 2021, he signed his four-year rookie contract with Los Angeles. The West Coast Eagles have drafted players through the Australian Football League's draft system, beginning with the 1988 VFL draft. The West Coast Eagles have participated in every national draft since then, and also participated in the pre-season draft (first held in 1989), the mid-season draft (held from 1990–1993), and the rookie draft (first held in 1997). Marc Webb (footballer)
Marc Webb (born 23 February 1979) is an Australian rules football coach in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) for Port Melbourne and in the WAFL for Perth and Subiaco. He served as an assistant coach at the Western Bulldogs after previously being a premiership winning senior coach for Claremont and serving as an assistant coach for Fremantle. He's the husband of Fremantle AFL Women's player Lisa Webb. Playing career Webb played six matches for Port Melbourne in the VFL during the 2000 season. He moved to Western Australia to play for Perth. After playing 20 matches for the Demons, he transferred to Subiaco during the 2002 WAFL season. Between 2002 and 2010 he played 176 matches for Subiaco, including four premierships. He was the Simpson Medal-winner in the 2006 WAFL Grand Final. Marc Preston Webb (born August 31, 1974) is an American music video director and filmmaker. Webb made his feature film directorial debut in 2009 with the romantic comedy '' 500 Days of Summer'', and went on to direct ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' in 2012, which was dubbed the "Webb-Verse" by Marvel Studios in 2021. He also directed the drama films ''Gifted'' and '' The Only Living Boy in New York''. Early life Webb was born in Bloomington, Indiana, the son of Margaret Ruth (née Stocker) and Norman Lott Webb, who works in math education at the University of Wisconsin.
