Mark O'Leary (cricket Coach)
Mark Daniel O'Leary (born 19 June 1976) is a Welsh cricket coach and former cricketer. He was head coach of Western Storm in 2020 and 2021, and coached the women's team of Welsh Fire in the 2021 season of The Hundred. He previously played cricket for Wales Minor Counties, as well as the second XIs of Glamorgan and Somerset. Prior to being appointed Western Storm's head coach, he worked for two decades at Cardiff Metropolitan University and Cardiff MCCU. Career O'Leary played cricket for Wales Minor Counties between 1995 and 2000, appearing 5 times in the Minor Counties Championship, playing as a right-handed batter and right-arm leg break bowler. He also appeared for Glamorgan Second XI between 1995 and 1997, and Somerset Second XI in 2002. He played club cricket for Sudbrook Cricket Club in Sudbrook, Monmouthshire. Panteg () is a large village and Community (Wales), community in the county borough of Torfaen, Wales. It is adjacent to Griffithstown, between the towns of Cwmbran and Pontypool. Sudbrook, Monmouthshire
Sudbrook is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales. It is located 4 miles south west of Chepstow and 1 mile east of Caldicot. It lies close to the Second Severn Crossing on the Severn Estuary, and adjoins the village of Portskewett. It was largely built in the late 19th century for workers on the Severn railway tunnel. At that time it was also known as Southbrook. History Sudbrook hill fort Sudbrook was of early historic importance in guarding the Severn estuary at an ancient ferry crossing place. An Iron Age hillfort is located on the coast, probably built and occupied by the Silures from the 2nd century BC and occupied by the Romans from the 1st century AD until the 4th century. Gareth Rohan Breese (born 9 January 1976) is a West Indian cricketer. Born in Montego Bay, St James, Jamaica, he attended Wolmer's Boys School in Kingston. Breese played as a right arm offspinner. Matthew Mott
Matthew Peter Mott (born 3 October 1973) is an Australian cricket coach and a former first-class cricketer. He is the former coach of the Australian Women's Cricket Team. Mott also previously coached the England men's white-ball cricket team, and steered the side to victory in the 2022 T20 World Cup. Playing career Mott played for the Victorian Bushrangers and Queensland Bulls. He was part of the Australian Cricket Academy in Adelaide in 1995. The Hundred (cricket)
The Hundred is a professional cricket league in the United Kingdom. It is the only cricket league in the world that uses the 100-ball cricket format. It is organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and played during July and August each year. The competition is one of the four cricket tournaments organised by the ECB, alongside the County Championship, the One-Day Cup and the T20 Blast. The 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the first edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket domestic competition, which took place between 29 August and 27 September 2020. 2019 Women's Cricket Super League
The 2019 Women's Cricket Super League, or 2019 Kia Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth and final season of the Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), the semi-professional women's cricket competition in England and Wales. The competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), consisted of six franchise teams playing in a Twenty20 format. The tournament was scheduled to be replaced by the Women's Hundred and a new regional domestic structure from the next season, although the full implementation of this was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Matthew Edward Hobden (27 March 1993 – 2 January 2016) was an English cricketer, a right-arm fast-medium bowler who batted right-handed. Born in Eastbourne, East Sussex, Hobden was educated at Millfield School and Eastbourne College. A police investigation into his death concluded in May 2016 with no further action or arrests.
