Maria de Belém Roseira Martins Coelho Henriques de Pina (born 28 July 1949) is a Portugal, Portuguese politician who served as Ministry of Health (Portugal), Minister of Health from 1995 to 1999, Minister for Equality from 1999 to 2000, and President of the Socialist Party (Portugal), Socialist Party from 2011 to 2014. She is informally known as Maria de Belém. Biography She graduated in Law at the University of Coimbra in 1972. She was Minister of Health (1995–1999) in the XIII Constitutional Government of Portugal, first government of António Guterres, and Minister for Equality (1999–2000) early in his XIV Constitutional Government of Portugal, second government. The Military Order of Christ is a Portuguese honorific order. It is the former order of Knights Templar as it was reconstituted in Portugal. Before 1910, it was known as the Royal Military Order of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Order of the Knights of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It was founded in 1318, with the protection of King Denis of Portugal, after the Templars were abolished on 22 March 1312 by the papal bull, '' Vox in excelso'', issued by Pope Clement V.
