Maria Henriette de La Tour d'Auvergne (Maria Anna Henriette Leopoldine; 24 October 1708 – 28 July 1728) was a noblewoman born into the House of La Tour d'Auvergne. She was the ''suo jure'' Margravine of Bergen op Zoom from 1710 at the death of her father. She was the mother of Charles Theodore, Elector of Bavaria. Biography Born in France, she was the only child of François-Egon de La Tour d'Auvergne and his wife, Maria Anne de Ligne, daughter of Philippe Charles de Ligne d'Arenberg, Duke of Arenberg. Life Theodore Eustace was born in Sulzbach in 1659 as the only surviving son of Christian Augustus, Count Palatine of Sulzbach and Amalie of Nassau-Siegen. Charles Eugene, 2nd Duke of Arenberg (8 May 1633 – 25 June 1681), a Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece since 1678, became 2nd Duke of Arenberg on the death of his half-brother Philippe François, 1st Duke of Arenberg. The original title had been awarded on 6 June 1644, by Habsburg Emperor Ferdinand III, Holy Roman Emperor, making the principality of Arenberg a dukedom of the Austrian Empire.. He married Count of Champlitte, Marie-Henriette de Cusance, marquise de Varambon in 1660. Eitel Frederick II of Hohenzollern-Hechingen (Hechingen, 1601 - Issenheim, 11 July 1661) was the second Prince of Hohenzollern-Hechingen and an imperial general in the Thirty Years' War. Biography Eitel Friedrich was the eldest son of Prince Johann Georg, Prince of Hohenzollern-Hechingen (1577–1623) and Countess Franziska von Salm-Neufville (d. 1619). His father placed particular emphasis on a good education and the prince was sent to the universities of Vienna and Ingolstadt for this purpose. Educational trips to Italy and France also followed. Eitel Friedrich succeeded his father as Prince of Hohenzollern-Hechingen in 1623. He also commanded an infantry regiment in the service of Emperor Ferdinand II.
