Armada Music is a Dutch independent record label that specialises in releasing electronic dance music. Armada Music was founded on 1 June 2003 by Dutch producer Armin van Buuren, Dutch business executive Maykel Piron, and music manager David Lewis. The name is an acronym containing the first two letters of each of the founders' names. In 2022, Armada launched the investment company BEAT (Best Ever Acquired Tracks) Music Fund. Eelke Kleijn
Eelke van Kleijn (born 11 June 1983) is a Dutch producer and DJ from Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is known mostly for his electronic dance music and also produces music for other media, such as television series, commercials, movie trailers and animation. Career In his early career (between 2003 and 2005), he produced electronic records as ''MI.D.O.R.'' and ''Six4Eight'', and he was responsible for some of the DJ Precision releases and remixes. Kleijn's first release as Eelke Kleijn was '4.5 Billion Years' in 2003 on Segment Records. Since 2005, he has exclusively released music under his own name. His breakthrough and notoriety came in 2006 when Nick Warren used the track "8 Bit Era" for his ''Global Underground: Paris'' compilation. The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) is the organisation that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. It is a non-profit members' organisation registered in Switzerland and founded in Italy in 1933 by Francesco Braga. The label was first formed releasing only trance music which included its sub-labels Levare Recordings and Flashover Recordings itself. A State Of Trance
''A State of Trance'' (often abbreviated as ASOT) is a Dutch Trance music, trance radio show, hosted by Armin van Buuren and co-producer Ruben de Ronde, that first aired in June 2001. It is currently aired weekly every Thursday at 20:00 (CET) and 14:00 (EST) and as of January 2021, ASOT is broadcast by more than 150 stations in 84 countries claiming a weekly listener count surpassing 40 million. ASOT is broadcast as a 2-hour livestream with some stations re-airing the entire stream. However, several of its radio affiliates omit the second hour while other stations format the show into two 58-minute segments to make time for local advertising and station branding.
